Taylor's POV

After I stormed out of the house I didn't really know what to do. I just sat there.

After a while I felt bored, so I stood up. I started walking and I ended up at Jay's door.

I knocked. "Hey Tay, what's up?" He asked.

"Nothing much, I just needed to get out of that house." I answered.

"Come in I guess.." he said, gesturing to the door.

"Thanks." I walked inside. Jays house was always loud. He had two little sisters, a little brother, and an older brother and sister. I loved going over there because it was always full of life.

On the other hand, he loved coming to mine because it was quiet. I only had one sibling and he wasn't the annoying, loud type.

As soon as I walked in his little sisters ran up to me. "Yay! Taylor's here!" Said Kyla, his 6 years old sister. "Hi Taylor." Said Tara, his 12 year old sister. She was the one who never looked up from her phone.

"Hey guys. Hey Tara, would it kill you to at least look up for me? I forgot what your face looks like." She looked up. "There it is." I said, turning back to Jay.

"Let's go upstairs to my room. Way less noisy." He said. I followed him up to his room and sat on his bed.

"Why did you need to get out of your house?" He asked.

"Well, Dylan kinda found out about Kian.. I asked him how and he said that he watched me walk to school. I, thinking that was a little creepy, yelled at him about it. And it all went downhill from there."

I told him what else happened, and he just watched and listened.

"Well, if my sisters came home acting all depressed and crying, I would've done something." He said. He was trying to defend Dylan.

"I know but-" I had nothing to say. Jay was completely right. All he was trying to do was protect me.

"Ya got nothin." He said, smirk and all.

"Ugh, friends are supposed to agree."

"Ah, but best friends know what's best." He said.

I smiled and hugged him.

"Thanks."
