I watch him as he walks through the halls. He seems to have moved on quickly. His eyes meet mine and I quickly glance away. I stare at myself in the mini mirror stuck to the side of my locker. I apply the lipgloss to my lips and stare at my reflection. Then I slam my locker and greet my two besties. Laughing and smiling we seem happy and carefree. But it's not true. I watch him walk through the hallways with his friends, joking and pushing eachother. He'll never understand. I see him talking to the girl that's in his science. The way he leans up next to her, smiling and brushing his fingers through his hair and smiles that smile that use to make me melt, and still does. I love him so much, but he'll never take me back.
