The first branch was quiet. No street had more than one car, usually rusting to the point of no return. There were a couple cars with big tires, some with larger engines, some with smaller drivers. I walked by, trying my best not to catch anybody's eye. But as I moved through, I saw a significant change, having larger houses at first, with a hint of music, usually from small speakers in the walls. The scenery changed as well. I noticed more of the color blue, guessing that it was special to them, over the usual brown and gray of the last branch, and as I progressed more, more vehicles showed up, though still small in numbers, they were more noticeable. It didn't take long before I reached the third level, where green showed up on the cars, then new music, with a more pop feeling to it. This place held more friendly people, but still had the same look upon the second and third branch. The houses started to disappear here, and more farmland was in place, with little farms on lots the size of a home in the first branch. I was fascinated by the people, and with the nice music, I was walking a bit slower, up until the fourth branch, where I encountered a wall. "Identification." said a man, he wore a blue hat, with a red stripe on his right side stretching down to the left of his waist. I pulled out my wallet, and showed it to him, and upon seeing it, he let me pass by instantly, saying, "Oh I'm so sorry sir. Please, do go through." I was confused at first, and passed through. I didn't notice much of the next three, still caught up on all of the men being so kind and gesturing to me, all the way until I came into the sixth branch again. It was as colorful and bustling as I remembered, with people all around. I passed through and started asking around if anyone knew where I could find a battery for my computer. I hadn't had any luck in the sixth branch, and went towards the wall again, pulling out my wallet to show the guard, but this time, something seemed off. When he saw the card, he pulled a lever, which seemed quite random at the time, and when I got to the seventh branch, another man came and met me. "Hey, are you just coming through?" "Hmm? Yeah, I'm looking for something like this," I say, pulling out my battery as I said this. He inspected it, then said he would help me. "My friend has some batteries just like these, 'course he lives quite a while away, heh." I was a bit hesitant but went with him anyway. He was very talkative, and I found he was very nice, though very mysterious at the same time. "My friend is just around this corner, please do come." We had just come into an alley, and as we walked further through the corner, men showed up from nowhere. "So as I said, my friend was pretty far away, and by that, I meant he was in the sky. And the only way to meet him is like this." He said, turning around with a rusting Scimitar. I was surrounded, some people with knives, some with bare fists. I tried to pull out my Scissors, but they had been in my other pocket. And when one of the men came at me, I thought that was the end of my life, up until he vanished. There was a smoke cloud where he was, and he was gone. I tried to figure out what happened, but when nothing made sense, this seemed to be normal. My scissors were finally out, and were apart. The man who brought me here was a bit angered by the scissors, so I guessed he wasn't fond of them, though he wasn't truly caring about me, because the sky had grown darker, with a smoke cloud in the sky. There was another cloud on the ground, and a figure jumped from it, seemingly hunting the men around me. I didn't know what was going on, and found myself scared. The figure was taking down everyone around me, and from afar, I saw some of them running. The creature finally slowed down, to where I could see what it was. It was a lady, built in a slick black suit, with gray lining around the edges. She wore a slick black helmet with a gray visor, and what looked to be roller blades in her shoes. Her belt was lined with little smoke bombs, and a little cube. She was mesmerising, and when the last hench men started to run, I snapped back to reality, and saw the man who brought me there charging. He was headed straight for me, and I bent back, just as his scimitar would have cut my gut in two. My scissors came apart in my hands, and I slashed at his hand. He was gushing blood, so I guessed I hit a vessel. He jabbed at me again, and my position with my hand down wasn't good, as he cut my shoulder. My arm felt terrible, and to my surprise, the lady came down again. She was fast, and pulled her square off her belt, only for it to unfold itself into a full cane sized stick. So while he may have fought me well, he didn't have a chance against her.
I was watching in awe, she was blocking each of his attacks without flaw, and when he was hit, there seemed to be no problem at all. The man had fallen, still with blood coming from his arm. My eyes started getting heavy, and as that happened she turned around, barely seeming to catch me before I fell. I was special, but why?
