I was in the Base for who knows how long. I watched as Ghost, Ducky, Jawbreaker, Grrga, and Engraver all ran past me, not saying a word. They each seemed a bit worried, and although I thought it was because of Blast's random sickness, it was instead because of what he said. Reaper was a man who held high power over everybody in the world. They say he created the desert that we lived in now, but I hadn't known it at the time. My body, or the person who I saw in my dreams, was the Reaper. The only difference between us was his face. He had a face mangled from battle, while mine was but only blood red. I heard a little talk of him while they were all screaming, but not much since they were behind doors. Every once and a while, someone would walk out and in, getting them drinks. About an hour after they began their meeting, they walked out, and stepped towards me. Engraver had a stern look on his face, and Ducky looked defeated. Ghost was the first person to talk to me, and she said, "You need to leave."
I was so distraught, and before I could say anything, Grrga had taken my shoulder and turned me around. "We will let you have your stuff back, but you need to leave the city." I looked behind my shoulder, and Ducky was looking down. I could tell he wanted to stop this, but he couldn't. Peter popped up behind him, I guessed he was in the room before everything happened, and now he too looked down in despair. Ghost showed up with my weapons and a second pair of clothing, then held them in front of me. As I took them, she dissipated, and vanished into thin air again. "We're sorry we have to do this." said Engraver. "But due to the circumstances, you have to leave the city until we find out what exactly happened to Blast." I hadn't understood what exactly happened, but I don't think I wanted to. There was another buzz in the air, this time coming from everybody who watched us leave. I was shoved in the passenger seat of Grrga's truck, and I was driven through the gates until we left the city. They gave me a backpack with enough food to last me just under a week, then dropped me off in the middle of the desert. There wasn't very much for me from where I was, so I set off in one direction: West.
