She opens her eyes and as the world takes shape in her mind, imagination becoming reality. when she opens her eyes, she sees the colours of the sunset in the sky and, around her, a field of scattered wildflowers. She looks around, trying to look at the one person she came to see. "what are you doing here?" she turned quickly at the familiar voice and locks eyes with the boy she's been dreaming about this entire time. "You're not supposed to be here," he says. "You're supposed to be out there, living your life! travelling the world, falling in love..."I just had to see you," she closed the distance but left space in between them. she held out her arm as if she was reaching out to him. "I had to see you just one last time." He signed at her stubbornness and she just smiled at him. "So would you please," she was still smiling at him with her kind, loving eyes. "Would you please have one last dance with me?" he looks at her hand still reached out to him. without another second passing, he takes her hand and brings it to his mouth, pressing a chaste kiss to it. "We shouldn't be doing this," he murmurs, but his words mean nothing as he starts the dance.

The scenery changes and instead of a pink sun setting in the distance, the moon comes appears in the sky while the stars start to twinkle in the sky. Wildflowers and grass blades get crushed under their bare feet as they dance to the music only they can hear. With each step, the world the girl created starts to fade with every small detail slowly chipping away. They ignore it and continue to bask in what's left of the moonlight and dance till nothing is left beneath their feet. When even the stars start to fade, they stop and look at each other. She caresses his cheek and he leans into her hand as if revelling in her touch. as if it were the last time he'd feel her soft comfort on his skin." Thank you for being mine." With his last words, he fades away and nothing, not even the twinkling stars are left.

With tears in her eyes, she wakes up.
