Kaoru: Hatsume? Who's that?
Midoriya: she was on my team during the cavalry battle
Kaoru: ah, got it
Jirou: so it's hero course vs support course
Tsuyu: I have no idea what this fight will look like
Kaoru: hang on where did Iida get all that gear from?
At first the fight doesn't start due to some complications with the support items that Iida was given, however the situation quickly gets sorted out and the fight starts. Well at least I wish it was a fight, really what the whole thing consisted of was Hatsume using Iida as free advertising for her support items. Definitely a clever strategy, and Iida can't really complain because Hatsume stepped out of bounds once she finished her commercial break, giving him the win
Kaoru: well...that was something
Present Mic: let's hope that guy's belt suit some kind of purpose. It's Yuga Aoyama from the hero course! Versus, is there's some kind of purpose for those things on her head? From the same class, Mina Ashido!
Tsuyu: come on Mina! You can do it!
Mineta: don't show mercy Aoyama! Fight like you're in one of those video games where everyone's clothes are beaten off!
Kaoru: a fellow Soulcalibur fan I see?
Momo: Shiro that's not what he's talking about
Kaoru: well what else you he-, oooooooh. You pervert!
The match starts and right away Aoyama fires a laser at Ashido, trying to keep the fight at a distance. However Ashido completely shuts down this strategy by using her acid to slip and slide around the arena quickly closing the distance between them. Afterwards she throws acid on his belt disabling it, quite literally catching him with his pants down before finishing the fight with an amazing uppercut
Midnight: Aoyama has fainted! The winner of this match is Ashido!
Kaoru: about what I expected
Present Mic: dang! Aoyama went down hard! That's a beautiful victory if I ever saw one sports fans!
Tsuyu: wow, Mina is amazing!
Mineta: I got to see panties...but why were they his?
Jirou: for crying out loud!
Kaoru: seriously dude, calm the hell down
Present Mic: now, let's not let this hot streak cool! Time to move on to the 6th match! Offense and defense in one! The dark samurai and his shadow! From the hero course, Fumikage Tokoyami! Versus, the great creator! She was admitted because of her recommendations, and I think we can all see why! Also from class 1-A, Momo Yaoyorozu!
Kaoru: damn...she's at a huge disadvantage
Izuku: how so?
Kaoru: well, I've seen Tokoyami's quirk back at the attack on the USJ, nothing that Momo can make would really do much. She has no way to take advantage of Dark shadow's key weakness
Izuku: weakness?
Kaoru: yeah, that being light. Lemme explain: when I used on of my super moves back during the attack on the USJ, I noticed dark shadow got visibly weaker from the light, not by that much mind you since he wasn't directly hit by the light. But still, unless you have the proper quirk, it's hard to take advantage of this
Izuku: oh...
Present Mic: sixth match! Begin!
Not wasting a moment Tokoyami sends out dark shadow unleashing a relentless assault, Momo manages to make a shield to block the strikes but ends up getting pushed out of bounds
Midnight: Yaoyorozu! You're out! This match goes to Tokoyami!
Present Mic: yikes! Another fast, overwhelming victory! Is it possible that Tokoyami's dark shadow is the greatest quirk ever? I think so!
Izuku: Tokoyami is way too powerful. I can't believe he forced her out of bounds by focusing his attacks on her shield! He obviously had a strategy worked out
Ojiro: yeah, I guess so. Maybe he didn't wanna hurt her. I bet she's really upset about how it went down
Kaoru: yeah, it was a bad matchup from the start *thinks* poor girl....I should go check on her later
Present Mic: okay! Let's see who we've got for you next! The two passionate dudes with completely redundant quirks! One of them is a passionate manly fighter made of steel! The hero course's Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu! Versus, a passionate manly fighter made of rock! The hero course's Eijiro Kirishima!
Kaoru: this is gonna take a bit-
Present Mic: care to see how this ends? Begin!
Because the two fighters have such similar quirks, the fight mostly consisted of them trading blows for about 5 minutes until they both pass out
Midnight: they're both down! It's a draw! When the contestants recover from this battle the winner will be decided with a simple contest. Perhaps arm wrestling!
Kaoru: yep, pretty much how I expected it
Present Mic: while we wait for Tetsutetsu and Kirishima to recover, we'll move on to the next battle!
Uraraka and Bakugou make their way to the ring
Tsuyu: this might be the most disturbing matchup
Jirou: I know....I don't wanna watch it-
Kaoru: oh have a little faith, Uraraka is smart, she'll come up with some kinda plan
Present Mic: the 8th and final battle in the first round of matches! He's kind of a hot shot in Middle School. And just look at that determined face! From the hero course, Katsuki Bakugou! Versus, the one I'm personally rooting for, also from class 1-A, Ochaco Uraraka!
Kaoru: y'know there's been a lot of fights between people from our class-
