Back at UA and both me and Izuku are just kinda talking about stuff
Kaoru: hey Izuku, about yesterday. Do you think the security breath from yesterday was really just the media?
Izuku: I'm sure it was nothing, why?
Kaoru: I dunno....I just have a feeling. I mean there's no way that a bunch of reporters are THAT pushy to where they would wanna put us at risk just for a news story
Izuku: now that you mention it...
Kaoru: eh, even if something were to happen we got all might. So it shouldn't be too bad if anything happened
Izuku: yeah
Later
Aizawa: today's training will be a little different. You'll have three instructors, me, all might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you
Insert murmuring from the class
Sero: sir what kind of training is this?
Aizawa holds up a card
Aizawa: rescue, you'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that
Kaoru: rescue training eh? Sounds like fun
Kirishima: agreed. Real hero stuff, this is where we separate the men from the boys
Aizawa: guys I'm not finished yet. What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about costumes, but keep in mind you haven't gotten used to them yet and they might limit your abilities
Kaoru:*thinks* yeah right, I NEED my support item
Aizawa: this special training's at an off campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there. That's all, start getting ready

I completely removed the trenchcoat, and added a bit more amor to it for some extra protection, the battery is still there, but it's in the symbol in the middle this time. So I effectively created a super suit that is protective, flexible, and compensates for my quirk's most fatal flaw. So now it looks something like this but replace all of the green with a blue glow
Kaminari: woah, looks like someone got a bit of a design change. I'm guessing the trench coat wasn't doing it for you?
Kaoru: I'm afraid not, I decided to get rid of the trench coat because of a recent accident I saw on the news talking about a hero almost lost his leg because his trench coat got stuck on something. So no more trenchcoat for me
Kaminari: makes sense, actually looks pretty protective even though it looks pretty light
Kaoru: yeah, this was made by a special kind of metal that is flexible but still strong enough to take a quite a few hits
