3rd POV

Benny was coloring with Emmet on the grass with the rest of the gang around chatting with one another. Everyone was at the picnic, except Bad Cop, who was watching from the shadows with a bouquet of flowers behind his back. He stared at the spaceman with adoring eyes, and wanted so badly to run up to him and hug him. But, obviously, he's too much of a nervous wreck to do such a thing, especially in front of everyone.

He knew Benny liked flowers, so he thought it would be a nice gesture to give them as a gift. He just had to wait for the right time when no one was watching, and when they were alone together.

"Excuse me guys! I'll be right back, hehe" Emmet and the others waved Benny off has he went to a nearby café to use the restroom. This was BCs chance; he had to time it right, and decided to wait until Benny was finished.

A couple minutes later, BC noticed Benny walk out and mentally prepared himself for what he was about to do.

He gently tapped Benny on the shoulder, hoping he didn't startle him. Benny jumped a small bit, but when he turned around he beamed a bright smile. "Oh, hi Bad Cop! Hehe I was wondering where you were, you didn't show up to the picnic" Benny stated with a disappointed look. "Uh, er, sorry, just was busy with my duties, heh." "Its ok!! I understand :> I'm guessing your free now, so do you wanna walk back to the others with me?" Benny jumped up and down. "I promise that everyone is gonna be so happy to see you!"

"Right... well I would, erm, love to b-but..." BC stammered and fiddled with the bouquet behind his back. "I wanted to talk to you first, Benny" Benny was surprised, but quickly assured him that he'd love to talk. "Um.." BC took out the bouquet and looked away. "h-here..."

Bennys face immediately lit up, and he took the bouquet so he could have room to hug BC. "Awwwe, thank you so much Cop!! That was so sweet of you, ill be sure to display them in my house as soon as possible!" BC blushed, and wrapped his arms around the smaller boys back. "Heh, yea, im glad you like them, they reminded me of you..." Benny pulled away to look BC in the eyes. "Hehe, well thank you. Your very thoughtful." Benny pecked BC on the cheek and then told him to meet him at the picnic.

"Silly boy..."
