Coppernauts Benny x Bad Cop Oneshots [The Lego Movie]

3rd POV

Bad Cop pulled out his keys and fiddled with the lock to his apartment till it opened. When inside, he lay on his bed and immediately went to his new contact. Benny gave him his number at the café, and he has yet to say a word. With hesitation, he typed in the words, 'Hiya Benny. Its me, the cop you met at Jo's Pastries earlier today.'

He fidgeted with his paws for a few minutes before he saw three gray dots pop up in a speech bubble, indicating that Benny was writing back to him.

'hiii bad cop!! thank you so much for texting me ^_^ i was thinking about you quite a lot after i first met you :)'

'Heh, yea, me too. Hey, are you free on Saturday? If you were, I was thinking we could go and see the new Back To The Future 4, if you'd like'

'yep, im totally free! oo that sounds like so much fun!!! i would love to go with you b <3'

They decided on 8:00 pm, and BC would pick up Benny from his house. After some small chit chat over text, BC learned a lot of new things about Benny. He loved flowers, he still lived with his parents, he likes reading comics, and adored space. Bad Cop decided it was only polite to give him a gift before the movie, hopefully winning him over.

The Next Day ~

BC woke up, went to work, and soon was on his way to a local flower shop. He parked his car, and nervously stepped inside with his tail down. He was ambushed with many different auras and smells, all pleasant. The lady at the front desk greeted him with a 'Hello, Dear!' and a welcoming gesture. He saluted her, and found himself at a display of bouquets.

'Benny was wearing blue the day I first met him...' BC thought to himself. 'Maybe I ought to get him some blue flowers? He'd surely like that..' The Shepard spent a few more minutes browsing till he found a magnificent bundle of flowers with yellow roses, easter lilies, and blue asters sprinked in the mix. It definitely wasn't all blue, but it matched his hair!

Bad Cop took the flowers to checkout, and was on his way home with a present for Benny, tail wagging.

The Next Day At 7:20 PM ~

BC studied himself in the mirror, making sure that there were no creases in his suit. Adjusting his tie, he took a big, drawn out sigh, and grabbed his car keys. Tonight was the night he would take Benny to the movie theater. It wasn't that big of a deal. Honestly, all you had to do was bring him there, watch a movie, and take him back, yet his fur still tingled with anticipation at the thought of doing something wrong or embarrassing himself.

581 Foster Road was the address that Benny gave him, and at last, he arrived with beads of sweat soaking up his fur. He stepped out of the car, but the boy was already out and running up to him, paws out, ears up, wanting a hug. BC was startled, but embraced him nonetheless, and felt Benny nuzzle his nose in the crook of his neck.

The house he lived in looked very well kept; the lawn was perfectly trimmed, there were decorations of every kind in the garden, their flowers were bright and-

BC froze, and his face went pale. He left Bennys gift at home.
