Chapter 1: Meet Honoka!

January 5th, 2018,  Friday, 12:45pm, Nepgear had been walking home from the grocery store, holding her bag with both hands, smiling brightly to herself. “I hope big sister is hungry, after all she hasn’t eaten anything yet.” said Nepgear as she walked along the street. Once she made it back to the Basilicom, she stepped in the living room, looking around the spacious room she heard a small voice calling out to her.

“Welcome back Nepgear how was your trip?” asked the lady, Nepgear immediately recognized it as Histoire. “Histoire, it was great actually, I got some good deals on the food there. Although it was a bit odd whe I went there since everyone kept staring at me” she admits honestly with a nervous laugh. 

Histoire laughs some as she stayed on her book floating over to Nepgear. “Well what did you expect? You are the Candidate of Planeptune, I’m sure they were just surprised to see you there is all.” said Histoire with a big smile on her face. “Yeah you could be right Histoire” said Nepgear as she carried the bags to the kitchen and sat them on the counter top “Have you seen Neptune?” she asks curiously wondering where she went. 

Histoire tapped her chin folding her legs some as she gave little thought on it for a bit and nods. “As in matter of fact I do, she’s in her room sleeping at the moment, i tried waking her up but honestly she stays up until three am playing video games.” said Histoire.

Nepgear sighs a little, shaking her head in a bit of disbelief before smiling birghtly “Well you know big sis, she has tons of energy so maybe she’s trying to find ways to tone it down so she can be ready to go t work in the morning.” “On what level of usefulness is a goddess who plays video games all night and sleeps all day?” hissed Histoire. 

Nepgear laughs slightly as she started putting away the groceries in the refridgerator “Big sis has her charms and moments to shine too Histoire, in the end you know she always comes through when she’s needed most.” said Nepgear closing the refridgerator and opens the freezer. “Yeah, world threatning problems.” said Histoire.

“Annd when we cleared those Doogoos away from the town too, remember? Noire, Uni, Compa and IF gave us a hand, and since then we’ve gained a lot of shares from it hehe.” said Nepgear putting some  frozen food in the freezer as well. “Okay I’ll admit Neptune does come through when we need her for stuff like that, she even came through with the dragon fight Noire had.” said Histoire giggling, 

Nepgear giggled as well thinking about it. “Now that i think about it, that all happened two weeks ago.” said Nepgear closing the freezer once she finished and went to put the spices away in each cabinet, for her everything had its place to go. “Yeah it was, now that i think about it Nepgear, your friend came over to see you again today.” 

Nepgear rose an eyebrow in question while making a face that read complete cluelessness “You’ll have to be a little more specific about that Histoire.” she closed the cabinets when she finished and took the bags, sliding them under the cabinets. “That Honoka Kosaka girl, you know the one you continue calling your cousin” said Histoire shaking her head. 

Nepgear knew she and Honoka weren’t really cousins but they’ve known each other for so long it sure felt like they really were cousins, she grins brightly and fist pumps. “Yaaay, she did come like she said she would! Histoire where did she go?” asked a very eager and excited Nepgear. Histoire put her hand on her chin and points to Nepgear’s room “She’s in there.” said Histoire.

Nepgear took off full speed to her bedroom without wasting anytime and quickly opened her room door, still running full speed she saw the orange hair girl turn around to see her,  just as Nepgear leaped towards her with her arms outstretched. “Honokaaa!!!” said Nepgear happily as she knocked Honoka on the bed in a tight embrace. 

Honoka fell on the bed hugging Nepgear back, laughing loudly as they cuddled one another for a bit “Nepgeeaarrr! my gosh it feels like I haven’t seen you in forever!!” said Honoka, the two continued hugging for a few minutes before breaking the embrace, they pulled apart and sat on Nepgear’s bed across from one another.

Honoka had been wearing a yellow sweater with a white button up shirt beneath it, ont top of the sweater she wore her red jacket and a green ribbon tied in a bow around her collar, she also wore a dark blue skirt with yellow linings going through them, her bluye eyes sparkled with excitement. Nepgear wore her usual attire, her white Planeptune jacket and clothes. 

“Nepgear look at you girl, you’re looking good!” she grinned, Nepgear let out a laugh waving her hand, “you’re talking about me? Look at you! you’re stunning!” said Nepgear, the two fifteen year old girls fell back on the bed laughing and giggling more before sitting up fully. “Are you still interested in building stuff?” asked Honoka acting as a robot.

Nepgear nods her head, holding her hand up and pushes her pinky and thumb so close together they only have an inch apart. “Yeah, I do but just not as much as I used too.” she admitted. “Aww and here I was bragging to my friends that you make the bestest gadgets!” said Honoka poking Nepgear’s cheek, this resulted in Nepgear poking Honoka’s cheek back “Well maybe you can lend me a hand with my invention I’m working on.” said Nepgear grinning from ear to ear. 

Honoka rose an eyebrow this time “What are you making this time dear Cousin?” asked Honoka folding her legs across one another, Nepgear smiles and holds her finger to her lips. “You’ll have to wait and see hehe.” said Nepgear, Honoka responded by throwing a pillow at her, Nepgear fell back on her bed then quickly sat up, and the two had a pillow fight until they got tired and fell asleep.

I hope you guys love this hehe. This is also a collab, but it’s not with William Russell77995, it’s with my cousin! Yes, she’s my actual blood cousin, i just wrote it like this to find a way to bring her in hehe.
