Chapter 7: Departure of cousins Honoka's new outlook on life

July 4th 2018. Wednesday, 6:45pm. Nepgear sat outside in their backyard with Histoire, Neptune and Honoka, each of them wore kimimonos with their signature colors in them."Woooo!" said Neptune lighting four sparklers in both hands, she spun around in a circle being sure she wasn't too close to anyone to burn them.

"Burn baby buurrn" said Neptune giggling. Histoire had been lighting a few sky rockets watching them fly up in the air and pop into different colors. "Witness my great under taking!" said Histoire cheering happily, Nepgear and Honoka clapped as well watching the show going on before them.

"Are you guys enjoying the show?!" asked Neptune as she stopped spinning being sure she wouldn't fall. "Yeah we are!" said Nepgear giggling kicking her legs a bit playfully, she looks at Honoka who only laughed giving a thumbs up, "Yeah we are, lets light more of these babies up!" said Honoka she too giggles in delight watching as Histoire shot even more sky rockets in the air.

"Yeeahh!" she laughs watching them go off in awe. "Introduciinnngg!" said Neptune transforming into Purple Heart, seeing as her Kimimono had shrunken a bit, she used some power to allow her kimimono to grow to her size.

"Purple Barrel!" said Purple Heart flying high in the air with several sparklers in her hands, she looked like a butterfly with sparkly wings, Nepgear caught on to what her sister had planned, she grins and transforms into Purple Sister, her kimimono also grew too and flew up after her sister. "Honoka lend Histoire a hand will ya!" said Purple Sister speeding up just a bit more

until she caught up to Purple Heart who was playing with the sparklers. "Aww dear sister, so kind of you to join me up here." said Purple Heart giggling holding out some sparklers to her, she took them greatly.

Histoire smiling brightly glanced back at Honoka holding her hand out to her. "Come on Honoka, we can't let them out do us can we?" asked Histoire pointing to another set of sky rockets. Honoka giggles walking over to the other set of sky rockets and kneeled down in front of them. "Hey, how do I light these?' asked Honoka looking at Histoire who held out a lighter.

"Here use this, but be sure you don't burn yourself okay?" said Histoire as Honoka took the lighter from her. "Yeah don't worry I'll be careful Histy" said Honoka giggling as she and Histoire lit their sky rockets in sync and watched as they flew through the sky.

Purple Heart and Purple Sister were both giggling flying around each other in circles witht he sparklers still being lit as they had somewhat entered a game of tag."I'm going to get you!" said Purple Heart playfully speeding up as she gained a bit of speed on Purple Sister. "No you won't!" said Purple Sister laughing as she too went a little faster.

"Fireworks' said Purple Heart and as soon as she said it, Purple Sister dodged the incoming firework as it blasted a few feet above them. "Are you guys trying to kill us?!" shouted Purple Heart between laughs but had been cut off by several more fireworks trying their best to hit them but always missed.

"Let them have it!" said Histoire giggling as she lit seven fireworks at one time and they quickly zipped in the air at the two goddesses, they dodged it quite easily but had been playing a game of their own. "No mercy for the fairies!" shouted Honoka hoping they could hear her, not wanting the game to end they continued firing even more sky rockets in the air at the goddesses.

It's gotten so crazy they launched all 257 fireworks at them. "not today Honoka!" said Purple Sister as she and Purple Heart moved a bit faster as they dodged the fireworks, this somewhat turned into a training exercise between the two goddesses.

As time passed, it had been 9:35pm. They were out of fireworks, the citizens of Planeptune had been watching the entire time, finding it to be a show the goddesses had been putting on for them without knowingly. The girls went home, showered and were all watching a movie in the living room at 10pm at night. "Guys" said Honoka "Yeah?" said Nepgear "What is it Honoka, you've got something on your mind?" asked Neptune eating popcorn still wearing her usual pajamas.

"Are you okay?" asked Histoire. "Yeah, yeah i'm fine i was just letting you all know I'll be going home tomorrow.." she sighed.

"It'll be a lengthy journey to get you back you know" said Neptune giggling some "We won't be saadd" she finished. "I've been aware of it..i was just hoping you didn't bring it up. This isn't the end, our journey has only begun. Wouldn't you think so?" said Nepgear cheerfully between a yawn. "We'll miss you but you can always come visit again." said Histoire yawning too.

"You know..I thought this would be goodbye but i learned something." said Honoka falling asleep before she could finish her sentence, Nepgear too fell asleep. The next day, Honoka and Nepgear had been at the train station, the two cousins hugged and said their goodbyes, once her train was gone, Nepgear returned home.

"Neptune,Nepgear i have something i want to tell you" said Histoire eating a sandwich as Neptune had been eating some ice cream. "What's up?" said Nepgear "Are you retiring?" said Neptune jokingly. "No, I won't be retiring, i just want to tell you two..about this dream I had." said Histoire wiping her mouth. "What was it about?" asked Nepgear curiously.

"It was odd..I was in a dark world.. with a purple sky, there was no light, nor sun only a moon, i stood on a road, the ground looked dry..I didn't dare move i was too scared about falling in all that shadows.." "Darkness" said Neptune "We'll call it true darkness." No one spoke for a while, Neptune stood up walking to her room packing a bag. "Well i better get going.." said Neptune walking out the Basilicom, she transformed into Purple Heart and flew away. Nepgear had been in her room, she noticed this. "Big sis..?" said Nepgear lowly, Histoire stood by not saying anything.
