Chapter 13

(The day of the election)

Colette's POV

A shake from someone woke me up, I sat up from my bed and swing my legs off the edge of the bed. Right, today was the Election Day..I wonder who's going for president. Tubbo was in front of me trying his best to smile for me which made my heart warm. "We gotta get ready now, that's what Wilbur said." Tubbo said adjusting his uniform

When I was about to grab my formal clothes on, Tubbo tossed me a uniform with white plain shirt and ripped jeans, coat just like Tubbo's. "This is for you, you are officially part of this nation." He said with a smile. That's when Wilbur came in placing a hand on Tubbo's shoulder then nodded to me reassuring that I'm officially staying at L'manburg. I can't believe it myself that they accepted me even when they were in bad times, I'm so grateful to have them. "Thank you guys.." I said hugging the both men.

"Hey..oh ew, no, please do this somewhere else!" Tommy said snorting in cringe then flared his nose up, we laughed for a moment then headed out to the stage for final touch ups. I was the last out which means I had to lock the extra room out first. When I was locking it, a dark silhouette was on a tree branch swinging their legs on the edge of the branch with black cloak over themselves, weird.. I blinked a few more times to see if I was imagining and the dark silhouette was gone. I guess I was hallucinating or either it's an illusion, I didn't think much of it then walked to the stage.

The wind blew against my hair making my nerves chill a little, the warming colours and banners were filling my eyes in colourfulness. Everything I saw was me smiling about thought of everyone is happy and joyed until something or by I mean someone, had to ruin my happy thoughts. The green man himself revealed him self from the shadows of the walls making my skin hair flare up. "Sooo Election Day huh..pft-" he mid-laughed until I slapped him in the face. He held the place where I slapped him. "Feisty hm?" He said then laughing manically, the laugh got me to flinch and watch him like he was maniac or something.

He stopped laughing then gave me a glance slowly, our face was inches away, out faces were so close and he was leaning to my face. Our lips were a few centimetres away. I got to my senses then pushed him off me, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I said in anger and annoyance. I noticed the Sapnap guy looking down from the very side of the gates of L'manburg, he looked upset but why?

A horse neighed from L'manburg gates leaving me confused and scared of what's happening. Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy and everyone else crowded the gates to see what happened. A pig man appeared at the entrance with a red cloak, pig mask and braided pink hair flowing down his back, a sword in his belt making him look intimidating. "Wow, I really made an entrance..heh." He jumped off the horse receiving a bunch of confused and anxious faces. He looked at Wilbur and only him then me. He tilted his head in a questioning matter, The pig man was about to walk in to L'manburg until Tommy started to talk to him about what he has missed while he was gone and does family kind of talk. That's unusual for the Tommyinnit who is totally not 16 years old acts like a kid.

I walked in with the others and talked to Niki for a while then was about to ask Wilbur who was competing too. I walked over to him then tap on his shoulders, he turned around and jumped a little, "oh hey Colette! What do you need?" He asked. "Who's competing?" I asked while biting my inner cheek. "Oh right forget to tell you about the parties, so there is Coconut2020 which is Fundy and Niki, POG2020 which is me and Tommy, SWAG2020 that is Quackity and George, Schaltt2020 is well Schaltt."

The name 'Schallt' was awfully familiar but I can't seem to recall anything yet. There was some unfamiliar names but I think that maybe they would all do a great president..right?

I nodded to Wilbur and gave a grateful smile for the information. A shiver was sent down my back, it felt like someone's watching me again. Dream was leaning against a pillar out of everyone's reach, it looks like he was thinking about something. He's eyes turned to me and caught me staring at him. I immediately turned my sight somewhere else then him earning a low chuckle behind from me.

My sight changed to Sapnap who was looking down but the opposite side where Dream was, I was about to go talk to him until he saw me, he gave me a warm smile which makes my nerves chill. Something about this man just makes me relaxed whenever I'm with him, "Hey Colette, you good?" He asked with a try-hard smile. I nodded making him smile for real this time. "I'm sorry about him..he's...uncontrollable these days." He said with a disappointed stare, I understand his problem with Dream or so called friend. "It's alright I guess, by the way, I heard that you guys were enemies with L'manburg? Are you sure you are allowed here? Won't you get hurt?" I asked but my mind was filled with concern.

He chuckled and got a little red, maybe it was from the sun? Ya, the sun. "Wilbur said that we can stay or check around for a while but I can't stay at the election part..only George and Dream can which makes it unfair for me eheh." He said rubbing in the back of his neck earning a small laugh from me.

The gates of L'manburg was opened and earning a screech from the old gate, I looked behind me leaving my stare with Sapnap. I looked to the entrance to see a black suited man with a red tie on his neck, he had horned ears and jelled dark brown hair making it shine at the sun. "I'm not late am I?" He said with a evil smirk.

That man is Schaltt..not him again.
