Chapter 27

Tubbo's POV

Earlier...

I sneakily got off of Schaltt's work, I slowly closed my work place door to not make it creak. That would've exposed myself.

I tiptoed my way out to the exit, ready to run free to Pogtopia until I got held back. The person behind me pulled me to the ground hurting my back immensely. "What do you think you're doing?" I looked to see Quackity.

He's Schaltt's assistant or should I say, servant. Schaltt never treated any of us right. Quackity was always loyal to him, I didn't know why because Schaltt would constantly yell or hit at him. One time, I overseen the two men argue that Schaltt bottle hit the ground making the glasses spread across the room.

I begin to panic but held myself together. "I-I wanted to go and search for Tommy and Wilbur since Schaltt ordered me to..remember?" I tried to talk with him, at first he didn't believe me but he thought about what Schaltt would do to him and how he'll react. He accepted and let me run free to them.

I was now outside of Manburg, every time I go in there it makes me suffocate in the air. It felt like I couldn't breathe properly. I hate it there.

I strolled through the forest looking around to spot the dirt hill anywhere. I didn't memorise the place but I knew it was close to a forest. That's when I saw the hill, the hill where the blossom tree grew. It was there since L'manburg was developed, it always remind of my kingdom I once had. From what I heard, this tree can grand true love if the person is willing to love the other. I heard this from Wil, he was the one who discovered the tree but he never thought much about it. Just an ordinary tree..

I was looking at the pink marshmellow leaves until a black coat was on top of the tree. I recognised the coat in immediate time, it was Y/N.

(Present time)

"Y/N?"

She turned her head towards me with eyes widening. I was confused at that moment but I saw Dream sitting at the planks. He must've heard it too since he turned into my direction as well. Y/N did a line across her neck with her hand, I was more confused, what did she mean?

"Tubbo? Did you hear me?" Dream asked which brought back my attention to him. "I..uh..heard you saying her name. Yes, I heard you say Y/N's name!" I said with a cheer because I thought of that idea. I am so smart, HA! Beat that Dweamy Poo.

Y/N gave me a thumps up on top signifying that was a good excuse, I can tell she was loosing her balance up there but she held on.

"Did you hear anything else?" Dream asked in a very and I mean very cold tone. It send a shiver down my spine and caused goosebumps around my skin. Dream jumped off the planks and towards me, towering me. I stood back a step back further away from him. "N-No..I just heard you say her name. What relation do you have with her anyways?" I asked to not seem suspicious. "Nothing you should be worried about. But she does owe me something..." What could she owe Dream? I didn't know what it was but maybe in the future I'll find out soon.

"Anyways, I should get going. See ya soon, very soon." Dream said with a sacrastic sigh, he walked off into the depths of the forest, no where to be seen after that. He was always a mysterious and terrifying man.

I remembered Y/N was still on top of the tree branches but she already was at the bottom behind me. She looked at the forest deeply, she seem to be thinking hard. I know deep inside she still have this tiny feelings for Dream. I'm not the most talkative person but I'm very observant when it comes to these kind of situation where I just sit back and listen. Y/N will never admit she has small feelings for him but at least there's a future for both of them, it never ends here anyways.

Y/N got back to her senses and looked around for me. She spotted me and gave me a forced smile. "Hey Tubs, how did it go with Schaltt? Also, why did you come?" She asked raising her eyebrow. "I told an excuse to Quackity that I was going to search for Tommy and Wilbur but in reality I'm here for you and the others." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "That's fine, just go back before midnight if not Schaltt will get really suspicious." She said putting an arm around my shoulder.

I wanted this more, I wanted more of a sister-brother moment y'know? It's just calming to me to know that I'm safe. I always felt safe with her it's just something that makes it more special about it.

(Few minutes later)

Y/N and I reached Pogtopia safely without any trouble just us talking and catching up on small things. I even told her that her horse, Raven, was safe and that I took good care of her. She thanked me and said that the horse can be mine as a gift so that I would never forget or leave her. I thought it was good idea, at first, I didn't want to accept since she had that horse since she was a kid but eventually she convinced me into it.

She reached the doorknob and twist it to open. When the door opened, her face turned into a frown. I looked towards her gaze to meet with Wilbur and Tommy. Techno was nowhere to be found, maybe he left already?

Wilbur was tapping patiently for the both of us while Tommy was in the awkward sitting position. "Wherehave you two been?" Wilbur asked coldly. "We were at the tree." Y/N gave a short answer, she seemed like she didn't want to talk with him at all. She took her cloak off hanging it behind the chair. She went storming into a room, not slamming also not softly, closed the door.

"What happened to her?" Tommy asked staring at Wilbur while he gulped down his throat. Wilbur just gave out a sigh then walked to his room but this time he slammed the door. "Jesus what's wrong with everyone.." Tommy asked then standing up towards me.

"Looks like I have alot of catching up to do still.."

HEYYYY HOW ARE YOU GUYS??? Today I went out to do my IC and it was quicker then I thought..but anyways, I have lots and I mean LOTS of plot twists coming up. Hehehhehe (no cliffhangers today)
