After that day, Zack saw that she actually had somewhere she worked at. So he would wait outside of it for her, just so they could go home together. He didn't have anything else to do and he didn't want to get her in trouble if he began killing people again. After five hours she came out of where she worked annoyed. "Let's go before I kill someone."

"That bad?"

"Oh you have no idea, I have to 'act' like nothing is wrong while I work but oh my fucking god I wish I could stab the people that come in." She said as they walked together

"What happened if you don't mind me asking?"

"I worked up at the front today-meaning I dealt with cashing people out and shit. There was this old bitch that was bitching and yelling at me because I have to card everyone who wants tobacco products it's company policy. And well she didn't like that, she kept telling me that it was bull shit because of her age and shit. I needed her id or driver's license just so I can place the date in the damn system. But no she just had to blow shit out of proportion." She said looking up at him

"Wow, that must have really peeved you."

"Yeah...just a lot. Then not even a few minutes later I had this sassy bitch tell me how to do my damn job. I've been working there for four damn years. I know how to do my damn job without some bitch telling me just how things should be."

Zack couldn't help but laugh a bit and smile at her words. She looked at him unamused. "Something you find funny?"

"Just knowing that you're as blunt as you are...its amusing as fuck."

She shrugged as she placed her hands in her pockets. "Whatever, I am what I am."

When they got home she fell against the couch with a sigh. "So tired."

"Then sleep."

She whined out and kicked her shoes off. "I'm not moving."

He instantly picked her up and placed her in the room she wanted to be in which shocked her and made her feel rather flustered that he had picked her up. But she didn't say anything as she thanked him and fell asleep instantly as she curled up on the bed. For the next few days it was the same rendition of watching her work and so on. As it came to be the sixth day she came out sooner than usual as she had a piece of paper in her hand. "Zack let's go."

He got up from where he was sitting and followed her. "What's with the fumes coming out of you?"

"I quit."

"Why would you do that?"

"My boss was going to schedule me for two weeks with no breaks and days off, I asked for a raise and was denied. So I chose to quit mid shift since it was just my boss and I working. If I can't have days off and hours off-then neither can they. I got my last paycheck and I'm going to cash it into my card. Then things are going to change for us."

He didn't understand what she meant but he walked with her until they got to the bank where he stood outside of it for an hour before Tana came out with a smile on her face. "Alright Zack, let's go."

"Where are we going now?"

"A place better than where we're staying. I'm sick of that place."

They soon met up with someone who managed to give Tana the keys to the place after she gave them a deposit and first month's rent. Afterwards she smiled at Zack. "So this is our new home...well at least until you can figure out what you want to do with yourself."

"I don't know much about this place, I think staying around you is my best bet Tana."

"You're learning Zack, which is good. Now either you can stay here or come with me. I'm going shopping for stuff for this place."

"I'll go with you. I don't want to be alone in this place are you kidding me?"

She giggled a bit. "Alrighty then. Let's go."

They went to more than a few places. One of the places they went to was a car dealership, where Tana got her first car. Afterwards instead of walking places Tana drove them place to place which was nice for Zack since he hated having to walk all over the damn place. Once they finished their shopping it was late at night so she got them stuff to eat from a drive thru place. When they got to their new home they ended up falling asleep together on the ground in the first room. Tana against Zacks lap and Zack leaned up against her side. Come the next day there was a loud knock on the door which woke both of them up. Zack got off of Tana so she could answer the door. The people delivering their things were at the door as well as the people to turn the internet, water, electric and gas on. She told them where everything was going before allowing them to do what they needed to do. As they did she signed papers in the kitchen on the counter top. Once they were gone Zack sat on their new couch and sighed out.

"This is so much better than the damn ground."

She sat by him and nodded her head. "Mhm, and now that we have beds and stuff I can properly gage things for the rooms. Do you care about what's in your room or not?"

"Not really as long as it isn't girly I don't give a fuck."

"Noted, but just to let you know nothing would ever be 'girly' when it comes to me. I've seen too much shit to like 'girly' things." She said as she got up. She grabbed the laptop she had gotten herself and she placed it on the table.

She then began searching things up with him beside her looking at what she was looking at. He stopped her when he saw something he liked, she wasn't the least bit surprised and placed it in the cart before she found something for herself. Afterwards she went clothes shopping for Zack so he wasn't wearing the same thing repeatedly, she had a rough estimate of what he wore based on what she had already seen him wear. So it wasn't that hard to get hime clothes to wear. After that it was time for them to go shopping for food and things for the kitchen.

While they were shopping Tana had to calm him down while they were looking at the kitchen knives. He was having a bit too much fun looking and 'testing' them out. After they had everything they needed and Tana paid for it, it was time to take it all back home where they had to unbox everything. Tana then cooked something for the both of them which took her time to do since she barely knew how to cook anything. She knew how to read directions so that's how she gauged things. That night they slept on their bare beds, which was strange for her-but she dealt with it.

The next day tana woke up first and made breakfast for both of them-leaving his out for him before she went out on her own. She went job hunting for two hours before she went home. When she did she saw that he was just pacing back and forth, when he saw her he pushed her up against the door. "What the hell is wrong with you?! Don't you know it's really bad to leave me on my own?!"

She blinked her eyes a few times. "You're a grown ass adult Zack, you could deal with not seeing me for two hours."

He held onto her shoulder tighter. "For all you know I could have left and gone killing people! Do you really want that to happen?!"

"Eh, your life you do what you want Zack, I'm not your mother or your significant other. If you want to kill people go for it. I won't stop you from doing something you want to do."

He growled out before he walked off away from her, he then slammed the door to his room-which confused her. Why was he so angry with her?

She ignored it as she went onto her laptop for a bit of time. While she did it was quiet in the house for a small bit of time before she felt herself being picked up and placed on Zack's lap as he wrapped his arms around her. She rolled her eyes as she felt herself being picked up.

"You are an adult child Zack."

"Shut up..."

"Make me child, at this rate I minus well treat you like a child."

"You wouldn't dare..."

"Try me bitch." She said looking back to him
