It was a few hours before Zack had seen Tana's father, he went up to him and let out a sigh. "Did she drive you here?"

"Yeah, she did."

"Crazy child." Her father said shaking his head. "She isn't in too critical condition but you're gonna be stuck here until she gets better. You're more than welcome to go and be with her in her room its 24C down the hall and to the left by the exit."

"Thanks...Is...is she gonna wake up any time soon?"

Her father let out a small sigh. "I honestly don't know, she lost a lot of blood. Sure I did a blood transfusion to help her with the blood she lacked but that doesn't mean that it'll be enough to help her out. Whatever else was in her system is making it hard for her to wake up. For now the most you can do is just be there for her."

Zack nodded his head and thanked him before he went to the hospital room where Tana was out cold. The only thing that kept him assured that she was alive was the heart monitor that was beside her beeping. He held onto her hand and frowned, "Y'know I'm starting to realize why you hate the hospital Tana...you really need to stop over doing yourself. When you get up and we can leave this place, I hope we never have to come to a place like this ever again with you being passed out like this."

Zack kissed the top of her hand softly before he held it with both of his. It was silent in the room for a while until a nurse came in the room. "Oh...I didn't know that Dr. Hano's daughter had a guest."

"I'm her boyfriend and I was the one who brought her here. Her father said that I could stay in here until she wakes up...whenever that is."

"Ahn...very well then. I'm only here to check her blood pressure then I'll be out of your hair." The nurse said before he did what he said he did. 

Once he was gone the room was silent once more, as it got to night time Tana's father came into the room. "Zack, why don't I take you home and I'll bring you back tomorrow morning. That way you can sleep properly and get things to occupy yourself as you wait for her to wake up."

He let out a sigh and nodded his head before he went through Tana's things to get the keys to the house. Once he did, the two of them left out. Zack felt rather bad as he realized just how shitty things were for Tana.

"You look deep in thought kid, what's goin' on with ya?"

"Tana was in a lot of pain and she still made the effort to get to the hospital without causing an accident. I...I'm afraid that I'm going to lose her for good. There's so much that I could have done to lessen the pain she was in...but I've been a damn coward this entire damn time." Zack said sadly

"She gets her stubborn head from me, her mother always gives up too damn quickly. So knowing that Tanaya was so stubborn to get to the hospital makes me happy but also upsets me that she was so reckless like that. She could have gotten the two of you hurt like that."

"I don't give a damn about myself, I was more worried about her than me." Zack said looking out the window as it began to snow

"You really care a lot about my daughter don't you?"

"Yeah, more than anything in the damn world...which is a first for me. I've never given a damn about anything before." Zack said with a sigh

"I'll take your word for it. Listen, Tana is in good hands. If anything comes up with her I have asked the nurses at the hospital to contact me immediately and I'll get you. Alright?"

"Alright...at least I know you care for her. Her mother never gave a damn about her, she doesn't care at all about how her now ex-husband raped all of your elder children and tried to do the same with Tana. Instead of being proud of her for telling that bastard to fuck off, Tana was disowned by her."

Tana's father furrowed his eyebrows. "You're telling me that my ex-wife married a predator?"

"Pretty much, he was a creepy fuck too." Zack said with a nod of his head

When they had gotten to the apartment there were police cars by the apartment, Tana's father let out a sigh. "Let me deal with them alright?"

Zack nodded his head. "Yeah sure thing."

Tana's father got out of the car after he turned it off. "What's going on here officer why are there so many officer cars in front of my daughters apartment?"

"You know the woman who lives here sir? She needs to be taken in for questioning."

"My daughter is currently in the hospital right now after inquiring injuries that my ex-wife had done to her getting too bad for her to hold off on. She is currently under a coma and will not be out of it any time soon." He said seriously

The officer looked perplexed as he frowned "The mayor had said she didn't lay a hand on the child, but I know you doctors cannot lie. So that puts me in a pickle."

"The young adult in my car is witness to the things my ex-wife has done to my daughter, if you need someone to attest to all of the things you need to question my daughter about you may question him if needs be."

The officer shook his head. "No-no, no need for that. We will wait for the woman to wake up to get her testament." The officer said before he left out and let the others know to do the same.

The elder male then opened the passenger side for Zack "Seems like Tanaya's mother is trying to get the law on her side to take out Tana. Don't talk to anyone without a lawyer."

Zack got out and placed his hands in his pockets "I can do that, I think Tana has one of her own. So I'll keep that in mind. Her mother is fucking with the wrong person."

"Don't I know it. Tana is a rather smart woman, it's only fair that she knows how to go about getting around the laws of the world. I will see you tomorrow morning."

Zack nodded his head before he headed for the door and unlocked it. Once he got in he locked the door and placed the keys by the door. "Stupid Tana, what the fuck does she think she's doing going all out like she had...fuckin' moron." He muttered to himself as he slid down the door in tears
