I'm Sorry // Luke Hemmings

Chapter 3

I wake up to the smell of bacon. Luke? Nah, Luke can barely make cereal.

"I'm making breakfast" I hear a familiar voice. Oh yeah, Julia spent the night.

"I can tell" I reply in a sleepy voice. I get up and walk to the kitchen to find bacon, eggs, and 2 Starbucks coffees.

"When did you go to Starbucks? It's like 8:30 in the morning" I asked.

"Actually it's 10:30 in the morning and I just got back about 10 minutes ago" she replied.

"I slept too late! Why didn't you wake me up"

"I decided I shouldn't cause you'd be too grumpy" she said shrugging.

"Ok. Well thanks for making breakfast and getting me coffee" I thank her.

"Luke's brother is having a party tonight. Wanna go" she asked. "Sure" I said sitting down and quickly eat my bacon and eggs. I then drink a couple sips of my hot coffee.

"Well that was fast" Julia says surprised.

"I've gotta get ready. I should have been awake an hour and 30 minutes ago" I say going upstairs.

When I get upstairs I go to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

I wash my hair with shampoo, then I put in conditioner. Once I rinse my hair out, I quickly wash my body.

When I'm done I dry off and decide what to wear.

It's gonna be 70 degrees today so I don't have to wear warm clothes. This weather is crazy, yesterday it was 50 degrees...now it's 70. (Fahrenheit)

I decide to wear a loose black crop top with Jean shorts, a black cardigan, and my galaxy vans.

I go into the bath room to brush my teeth and wash my face.

After I am done I brush my hair so I can straighten it.

It takes me about 15 minutes to straighten my hair. When I finish I get all my makeup supplies out.

I put on foundation, concealer, blush, light grey eyeshadow, mascara, and finally a light pink lipstick.

After I am done with my makeup I get on my phone to FaceTime Luke.

**ring, ring, ring, ri-**

"Hey Florence" Luke yelled into the phone.

"Hey, whatcha doin" I asked. "Nothin, and you" he asked.

"Nothing right now. I'm going to a party tonight with Julia. Your brother is throwing it"

"Ok, well I've gotta go, tal-" Luke was saying but I cut him off.

"Luke, you never have time to talk! It's always me calling and we talk for less then 5 minutes cause you always say you have to go" I yelled.

"Florence, I'm always busy! I don't have time to talk to you all the time" he yelled making me jump.

"Oh, so you don't have time to talk to me but you can go out and party" I yelled.

Luke was silent. "I don't know Florence, I'm sorry" he said quietly.

"Well I'm sorry I believed you would actually talk to me" I yelled crying.

"Florence wait, I'm really sor-" he said trying not to cry.

"Save it Luke" and with that I hung up.

I was crying my eyes out when Julia came running in.

"What happened" she asked hugging me. "L-Luke" I said crying.

"what did he do" she asked shocked. I explained to Julia why I was crying and what happened with Luke.

"I can't believe him" she said still shocked.

"I'm messed up! It's only been a week and I'm already crying"

"Hey, it's gonna be okay, and we have a party to go to tonight, remember" she said.

I forgot all about that. "Ok well my makeup is all messed up like my life" I said.

"Go fix it up while I go to my house and get ready" she said hugging me.

It's almost time to leave for the party. I fixed my makeup just like it was before I talked to Luke.

Julia pulled up in my drive way honking her horn so I would hurry up.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" I said getting in the car.

"Tonight's gonna be fun" she said smiling.

We arrived at the party and I could already smell the alcohol and smoke.

It's gonna be a long night...

~so I know that I said I was gonna do a Luke's POV but I forgot.

I will do Luke's point of view in the next chapter
