Chapter 5

I wake up to nothing. I guess I forgot to set my alarm.

I stay in bed and check my phone. 5 new messages.

Luke: I'm sorry.
Luke: please listen to me.
Luke: I miss you so much, please forgive me
Luke: I'll come home early if that's what it takes
Luke: I'm sorry Florence.

I don't know anymore. Maybe we are better off without eachother.

I love Luke, I really do. It's just that he's just gonna get more famous and leave again.

I just don't think it will work out.
I text Luke "it's fine" and get ready.

Luke's POV

I feel terrible. She won't even answer my texts.

*ding*

I hear my phone. I am actually surprised at who it was from.

Florence:It's fine

What does that mean. Everyone knows when someone says "It's fine" it's not.

Florence's POV

I finished getting ready. I did my usual morning routine.

I am wearing s white sweatshirt with 3 monkey emojis on it with a black skirt and black vans. (Picture at top)

I spend the next 2518387334 minutes on my phone.

I get a text message. From: Luke

Luke: hey, can we please talk

Me:what is there to talk about

Luke:I'm sorry, I'll talk to you more.

Me:Luke, your just gonna leave again.

Luke:I can stay for you!

Me:Luke, we both know that's not true

Luke:please forgive me!

Me:Luke, I love you, but it just won't work out. I'm sorry.

Luke:ok. I'm sorry.

I lock my phone and head out the door to go to the store.
