Before you begin reading, I'd like to say a couple of things.
This story is one that I originally posted on AO3. Recently, I've been editing and helping write for @hanamocha on her story ERROR. Due to this, I've gained quite a few new followers, so I thought I might as well post something here.
Portentous is a fairly dark story. I won't lie to you about that. There's a lot of nightmare scenes, descriptions of gore and panic attacks. If you aren't interested in reading that sort of thing, move along! If you think this is something you'd be up to read, I'll be putting trigger warnings before the chapters that need them. I'm not gonna post all the chapters I've written so far in one go, but the updates will be very frequent.

Just to be as clear as possible, this fanfiction is about a relationship with Wilbur's character on the Dream SMP. I do not promote writing irl fanfictions about Wilbur as he has stated in the past that he's uncomfortable with such stories.
I have put the copyright for the work under creative commons attributions. If you don't know what that means, you can use my work if you properly credit me while doing so. I'm completely fine with people translating or building upon the original ideas I have used in this story. I in no way own the rights to any of the characters or the main plot used in this story apart from Y/n and her arc. All other characters and concepts belong to the respective members of the Dream SMP and the writers of the lore.
For plot purposes, Wilbur and Tommy aren't brothers in this story. They are still very close and see each other as brothers, but they aren't both adopted by Philza. Wilbur is Phil's son, but Fundy is not Wilbur's son.
I think that's about all that I needed to clear up in terms of plot points...
One more thing! I will be including song recommendations at the start of each chapter for you to listen to while reading. It's purely optional, but I thought it would be something cool to add.
