I kept running. Honestly I have no idea where I am going. Emotions are pouring out of me. I feel scared, abandoned, fright, exhaustion, and rage. My feet are bleeding through the cuts the thorns, branches and other objects on the forest floor left me. I trip, my face hits the solid grungy ground. This honestly can’t be happening to me right now.

I scurry to get back on my feet and take off again. The screams and explosions slowly fading. Almost like it was just in the back of my head. I shook my head, but this is the real deal. It is actually happening again.

I look back to see if anyone, thing or what ever those were were still after me. Worst idea i’ve ever had. A blunt object hit my forehead causing me to fall on my back. I laid there as my eyelids were slowly growing heavier with each deep breath I took.

Get up. You have to be stronger than this. Open your eyes. You are in danger. Run. Run fast. Faster even.

I cracked my eyes open. My eyes met the slow sunrise shining in between the trees of the forest. That voice comes in my dreams, but sometime when I am daydreaming. Every time it sounds different. Sometimes it is a woman, sometimes its a man. All I know is that the voice never lies.
