Aidel
"Great, got to go to school." I said as I got out of bed. I go to my closet and open it, just my normal black colored clothing. I grab a pair of black jeans and a black shirt.
I grab my bag and get ready to go out. I take a quick glance at the mirror. Before I stepped out of my dirty bedroom. I forgot something.
"Almost forgot you." I say as I go near my bed and grab my beanie. I put it on and head to the kitchen to grab a quick bite before I leave. I make some toast and slather on some strawberry jam and take a few bites. I head out of my house to get in my car. I start the car up, before I could get out of the driveway, there was someone tapping on my window. I roll it down to see who it is.
"He-"
"Hey man can you drive me to school? My alarm is messed up and didn't wake me up." Said my friend Anthony. Anthony's a good friend met him in sixth grade and we've been friends for a good five years.
"No, 'Hey Aidel' or 'Morning Aidel', just 'Give me a ride to school' c'mon man learn some common courtesy." I say looking at him with a smirk. He huffs and looks at me.
"Morning Aidel... could you please give me a ride to school?" He says with a smile.
"That's much better, get in." I say as I tilt my head to the passengers seat. He goes around the car and gets in, and I start to drive. We sat around in silence for a couple of minutes before he spoke up.
"Dude you need to get something better than this piece of junk." He says. I look him straight in the eyes... ignoring the road.
"Dude look at the road!" He screams, I still look at him.
"AIDEL THERE IS A CAR!" He yells pointing in front of him, I put my foot on the brakes, bringing the car to a stop.
"Really?" I tell him.
"Ok, I'm sorry, I shouldn't of said anything about your ride. I'm sorry." He said looking at me.
"Apology accepted." I said, looking at him with a smile. Then we started moving again. It wasn't long before we were at school. I go near the sidewalk to drop him off.
"Thanks man, I owe you one." He says, with a smile.
"You owe me a lot more than one." I say with a smile.
"I'll make it up to you, no prob. Alright?" He says.
"Alright man, hurry and get to class, there isn't a lot of time." I tell him. He opens the door, but before leaving he gives me a quick hug then leaves.
"Why did he hug me?" I thought, but I shrugged it off. Now I needed to find a parking spot... great.
I ran in the building and sprinted towards my first class, World History.
In the class we started to talk about ancient gods and goddesses, the subject was so boring that I dozed off in my chair.
~Dream~
I was in a dark place, I looked around to see if there was anything that could help me see. It felt like someone was watching my every move. I kept looking around only to see a shadow moving from place to place. I kept looking at it jumping from surface to surface. I kept looking at it until I saw a pillar appear in front of me.
"Go." I heard a voice say, I didn't know where to go. The pillar lit up a dark blue, I decided to walk towards it. I felt energy radiate from it. I gazed at it, admiring it's beauty.
"Touch." I heard the voice say again. I looked around once more for the shadow. It wasn't anywhere to be seen. I placed my hand on it... and a wave of energy surged through my body. It was too much for me to handle, I felt my body ripping apart from the energy.
~End of Dream~
"Aidel! Answer my question!" Said the teacher, I shot up looking at him.
"Um, can you repeat the question?" I said, tired.
"What is the tribe that has been wiped out, 500 years ago?" He said looking at me.
"Uhhh..." I said stupidly.
"No one tell him." Said the teacher. I sat there unknowing of what to do.
"The Gai." I heard a voice say.
"Umm. The Gai?" I said unsure.
"Alright then, what was the language they spoke then?" Asked the teacher smiling.
"Uhh..." I said stupidly once again.
"Charack." I heard the voice once again.
"T-They spoke Charack." I said with a smile.
"Hmph, it seems you have been listening Aidel." Said the teacher. He begins to teach once again.
"Now, the Gai have been wiped from the face of the Earth about 500 years ago. They were very excellent hunters, knowing every part of their forest. They've also have markings on themselves, we don't know what these markings represented." He continued to say. It was all making me tired once again, I started to doze off until I heard him say a very horrible thing.
"Alright, students remember we are having a test next time, it will be on the Charack language. So remember to study." He said, before returning to teach us. I look to the guy next to me.
"When did he say this?" I tell him.
"When you were asleep." He responded.
"Shit." I say, before receiving a packet in front of me.
"This will help you with the test, study it and I'm sure you'll ace the test. Now then." He said before returning to teach.
I knew my day would get worse and worse. I went to my next class, Math. It was very simple for me, so I didn't pay much attention, I started to go through the packet.
"Why do I have to learn this crap?" I thought to myself flipping the pages.
"I mean, when would I need to speak this Charack language? Their tribe or whatever was wiped out long ago. No one would speak this." I thought again.
The math teacher kept going around the room to help the other kids. The class kept going as such, until the bell rang. English, one of the most un-needed classes in school.
"I mean, damn I know this class is to help for grammar and what not but, why do I need to take it every year!" I thought. "Well at least I have Anthony to talk to." He came in and sat next to me.
"Hey Aidel." He said.
"Sup Anthony, hows your day?" I replied.
"Oh just some work that I have to do for French class."
"A lot?"
"Yea, what about you?"
"A packet to help me study for a test next time."
"What's it about."
"Just this dead useless language no one spoken for about 500 years... Hey do you think you could help me study today?" I said, the thought of it brought a smile to his face.
"Yeah we can do that, when do you want me to come over?" He replied.
"After school I'll drive ya to my place, ok?"
"Alright awesome."
"Hey can you do me a favor?" I told him.
"Uhh sure, what is it?" He said.
"Tell me everything from this lesson later, because I'll be sleeping. Can you do his favor for me?" I told him in a groggy voice.
"Oh yeah, sure I'll do it."
"Thanks Anthony."
"No problem."
