Aidel

We drove away from the school. The traffic was horrible, everything was just so slow. People didn't move and there was a damn student driver car in front of me. I was pissed at what was going on, then I look at Anthony... he was just happy. He had a big smile on his face, he reminded me of when I finally beat my favorite and hardest game... something souls.

It brought a smile to my face. I looked in front of me and the light was green, so we started to drive again. I look over to see him clutching a black book tightly. I was thinking what could be in that book.

"AIDEL WATCH OUT!!!" Yelled Anthony at the top of his lungs, while pointing to my window. I focus my attention back on the window to see a truck speeding towards me. I turned a hard right to evade him, but he still hit my car.

I open my eyes and I hear someone knocking on my window. I sit up and look to see a middle aged man knocking. I look to my left to see Anthony rubbing his head. I open the door and step outside.

"Hey kid, are you alright?" Said the man, I look at his face, he looked worried.

"I'm alright man, what the hell happened?" I said, I look at him expecting him to apologize for everything.

"Well...", He said while rubbing his forehead, "I was speeding and I didn't notice you until it was too late, I stomped on the brakes and pulled the E-Brake. I'm sorry for everything."

"It doesn't matter how many times you say sorry, you're going to pay for all of this." I told him in a serious tone.

"Don't worry here's my insurance info, it'll cover this. Just ring them up and they'll repair your vehicle." He said handing me some papers, I take them and I just look over them.

"Alright man," I look at my car, " it doesn't look very bad, but something is missing."

"Well you're tire is over there." He said, pointing to my tire on the road. I took a glance and there is my tire in the middle of the road. I take a step forward towards it, but my knees started to buckle.

"Hey kid, just take a little rest alright." He said as he moved me to the hood of my car. "I'll grab your tire, you stay here."

I started to get light headed while leaning on the hood of my car, but my hand started to feel numb. Anthony came to my side and caught me from slipping.

"Are you ok?" He asked me.

I looked at him, "Yeah I'm fine." Then the man came back to me, finishing a conversation with someone on his phone.

"Hey kid, I have a tow truck to come and get your car and bring it to a shop to get it fixed." He said with a smile on his face. I opened my mouth, but he interrupted me.

"Don't worry," he said," they'll give you a replacement car." He said with a smile. I was about to ask what I was going to drive, but he gave me the answer before I asked the question.

"Alrighty man." I replied. We waited half an hour for the tow truck to come over.

"Is this your car?" Said the tow truck driver.

"Yea, can we go now?" I said while trying to stay awake. We got in his truck, he towed my car and drove us to his auto shop.

"Hey kid let me call you an ambulance, you look pretty banged up." He said as he stepped out of the truck.

"I'll be fine, just let me head to the bathroom. You have a bathroom here right?" I said as I got out, I spat some blood on the ground. My head started pounding and my chest was

"Yeah, just go through the front entrance, go down the hall on the left, and 2 doors to your right." He said as he started to look at my car. I went through the front door and followed his instructions. I opened the door, and then locked it behind me, then moved in front of the mirror. As I looked into the mirror it felt like my face was melting off.

I touched my face with my numb hand, I felt all over my face with it before I finally noticed something very odd about it. There was black smoke engulfing my hand. I backed away from it, but slipped while backing away from my hand.

When I woke up, I heard knocking on the door. I stood up, not feeling dizzy anymore. I looked at my hand that wasn't covered in black fog, and wasn't numb. I opened the door to be greeted by the mechanic.

"Kid, you alright?" Questioned the mechanic.

"Yeah I'm fine. " I replied.

"Do you know how long you were in there?" He told me.

"Uh, ten minutes?" I guessed.

"Thirty minutes, your friend started to get worried when you didn't answer when he started to knock on the door."

"Crap, where is he?"

"He's in the front, he kinda looks... I don't know just look at him."

I thank him and head for the front, before I go I hear someone mumbling to himself. I take a peek and see Anthony with a worried look on his face. I slowly walk up to him. He looks up at me relieved.

"He-"

"Are you ok? What happened? Do you need medical help?" Anthony interrupted, as he stood in front of me with a look of confusion.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." I replied.

"What were you doing in that bathroom? Didn't you hear me knocking?" He kept questioning.

"Uhh, stuff. Just don't worry about it."

"I heard you fall in there, are you sure you're alright?" He said with a worried look.

"I'm fine alright, nothing to worry about." I lied.

"Hey kid." Said the mechanic as he came to us.

"Yeah?"

"So your replacement car is coming in around 30 minutes, that alright?" He said.

"Yeah man, that's fine." I said. I decided to sit down with Ant, he kept on telling me if I was still fine. The car finally came and we got inside thanked the mechanic and gave him my information before driving off.

It was a silent car ride, mostly because Ant kept quiet. I kept on looking over to just see him looking down, twiddling his thumbs. I looked forward to see us starting to approach the city. I looked back to see Ant dart his head back down. I was about to say something before I noticed someone walk into the street.
