While Soil was sleeping, her door opened and she saw her mother, very disfigured. Soil thought this was sleep paralysis so she just watched her mother slowly approaching her bed. Soil could move.
This was not sleep paralysis. She grabbed a gun from her nightstand and shot the creature. The creature was unharmed.
Soil jumped out of her bedroom window and ran into the street. She ra for hours util she had reached Lavender's house (her sister) and she rang the doorbell 1000000000 times until Lavender answered. When Lavender answered, Soil asked if she could sleep in her house tonight. Lavender said "yes, come in what happened?"
Soil explained that there was a creature in her house that looked like their mother. Lavender was terrified. She told Soil that it was the garsenda. A shapeshifting creature that lures people underground while looking like their loved ones.
Soil said that they would talk about it in the morning. The next morning, Lavender came down to wake up Soil (who was still sleeping on the couch at 10am) and they went to buy some mangoes. Wen they returned home, lavender drank rat urine and talked about the garsenda. After Lavender and Soil had talked about the garsenda, Soil said "well, it was a nice time seeing you. See you in a week!"
And Soil left Lavender's household and returned to her home.
