"Bratty"
Diane's invitations for you to come over to her house become frequent; it is so she can tell you all about her "running away" plan. Unbeknownst to her, the only reason you accept each time is that she's your friend — and Robert's always happy to see your face.
"Oh. Hello, Cassandra," Robert says, he greets you with an expectant smile. Your tightly-fitted cardigan catches his eyes; a bright red tone just happens to be his favorite color on women. "Miss me?" You raise a brow as you boldly ask him. "It's been 2 days." Robert shrugs, obviously trying to rile you up. But you, being the girl that you are, take it as a challenge upon yourself. "So, you're not gonna give me a kiss?" Laying a hand on Robert's chest, you force him to take a few steps back. "I need more than that," He responds to your question.
You shake your head, "You're not getting anything else until you kiss me." Your foot kicks the door close behind you. Robert's eyes shift to the stairs, checking to see if Diane's still in her room. "So?" You ask again, hand caressing his tough shoulder. Robert leans in, presses his lips against your glossy ones, and lets his tongue dance freely in your mouth. "Oh, it's a cherry kind of day?" The words instantly pour out of his mouth as you pull away. "Bingo," You cleverly quip, laughing at Robert as he wipes some lipgloss residue off his lips.
"Does your lipgloss has any meaning?" The man's curiosity thrills you; no one's ever asked you that, but you want them too — he can read you like an open book. "Peach is when I'm seducing, cherry's when I've succeeded," You clarify, the things you said certainly shocked the man as he lets his mouth agape. "Oh...!" Robert nods amusingly. You take another step forward and, into his ear, you whisper, "Wait until you hear about strawberry." Your giggling leaves him speechless as he tries to wrap his head around it. "I'll see you later," You cheekily say, before heading for the stairs.
"And we found out that Jared has been collecting money from the allowances his father gave him. We can afford a house in sunset boulevard if you want!" Diane seems too enthusiastic about her running away plan; she begins house hunting and surveys potential locations for the three of you. "Di, I'm not sure about this." You fidget uncomfortably, while the girl averts her eyes from her computer screen to you. "You said you were interested the other day?" She returns to scrolling the website LoopNet; apparently, that's how people house hunt nowadays.
"But this is such a big step!" You exaggerate your words, simply for the reason that you weren't being serious. But why would you say yes, then? Well, by doing so, Diane would invite you to her house almost every day to discuss things, which results in you seeing Robert almost every day, too — not to mention, you could become a double agent for him. "Fine, I get it. But we're leaving in June, so make up your mind before then," Diane sternly says, as she pops another Chee-tos inside her mouth. "Have you think about this thoroughly?" You're careful not to provoke her, but when she looks you dead in the eye, you know she's adamant as hell.
"Seriously, what about your mom?" You notice her face softens as your words finally reached her. "I visited her today... and told her," She responds, her gaze lowered at the wooden floor. "She's in a coma, Di!" You feel threatened by Diane's simple mind. "She can hear me, alright? I've seen people do it in movies." Diane argues back, not before shoving a bunch of that corn snack in her mouth. "Yeah? I bet you also believe that chloroform works immediately," You snap at her before shifting uneasily in your chair.
Diane continues pressing the pads on her keyboards to check another website, ignoring your upsetting remark. "Wait, I also went shopping today!" She immediately springs out of her chair and heads for her closet. "Now you're talking!" You sigh in relief when she finally drops the topic. "Look at this bikini I got." Diane brings the garments for you to look at. "Victoria's Secrets... you got some taste." You nudge her in the ribs, hinting at the things you know will happen with Jared around. "Oh, you perv!" Diane snatches the black bikini out of your hand, her face slathered in a red tint. "Put them on! What are you waiting for?!" You said, arms on hips, like a mother forcing her toddler to put on a skirt she just bought.
