My Beauty Sleep

Marinette's POV

I have to get there fast before anything horrible happens.

I am currently doing my best to reach the place but I am too tired. Since morning I didn't even take a little bit of rest.

After all this, i will make sure I will sleep for a long time. My beauty sleep is what I need right now.

With that final thought I reached where I had to be. But wait there is hmm something missing here.

Right?! I can't see any akumatized people here.

I decided to hide behind the chimney wall of the building I am standing on to see what is happening there.

And the scene going down there is batman, Robin, Grayson and Tim are talking to a injured police officer.

And then there is chloe who is holding a frightened alya and also lila who looks angry. And the remaining people are staring at them.

Now why can't I see anyone here that is akumatized.

I make my way slowly towards the conversation going on between batman and the officer.

Good job marinette now let's eavesdrop but Shhhh I know this a bad habit but hey the situation is bad too.

"Officer the situation in here was a bit concerning from the way it was telecasted but now where are the villains" batman started questioning the officer.

"I know that, but suddenly all the villains transformed back into humans like they were before. That being said Jason was one of them too and also there was a large guy who suddenly disappeared later"

"Disappeared as in ran away" Batman was doing a good job in asking questions and answering it himself.

"Yes" Hmm this large guy seems suspicious for some reason.

"Thank you officer, I will continue with my investigation"

With that all four of them walked away from there.

Now the real question is what should I do?

Of course I will go sleep. Don't blame me I am too tired and I feel like I will sleep on the ground any moment now.

OH yes I had a wonderful sleep!!

Now I feel so energetic.

What can I do today probably I will go check the crime area.

After getting prepared for going out. I left the room I was staying in.

I can't wait to stay in my own apartment but that will be possible only after 9 days. Sadness booo

I wanted to fill my stomach first because priorities are always first. And my first priority is to eat.

I made my way to a small bakery near the hotel i was staying in. It had a nice, homy environment to it.

When I reached their I ordered some muffins.

The place was really beautiful with some benches and tables arranged outside in the garden and inside the bakery was a small area where you can also sit and eat it.

Something tells me I will be here often.

After finishing my breakfast I made my way towards the University.

"Weren't we supposed to go to the place where everyone was akumatized" Tikki asked poking her cute little head outside.

"Yes tikki, but I'm not in the mood for it this early in the morning"

"It's okay marinette, you can take a break"

"Thank you tikki" I was really grateful for having tikki by my side. She is like a part of me now.

I will never be able to live without her.

I changed the plot of the story a bit. I was finally thinking of updating this book and then I read the whole book again only to cringe when I read gotham's special chapter.

God I kept the scene's a bit over dramatic so I changed it a bit. Now that I actually figured the whole plot out. I will be updating more.

In case you are lazy to go read the chapter again I will just type here what I changed.

"Listen damian whatever happened it was probably years ago. So try to understand"

And she started saying the history of......

"It was a long time back, it was probably the time when not even your grandfather's father was born.

There were two Kingdoms, one was ours who believed in killing and assassination was everything. And then there was creazione Kingdom who were calm and believed in keeping peace.

There was always constant fight between these two kingdoms.

The heir of Al ghul Kingdom proposed to the heir of creazione Kingdom. But convincing the Princess took a lot of time. At last it was declared for both of them to get married with the approval of elders. It was also like a peace agreement between the two Kingdoms.

So both the Kingdoms decided to make the ritual marriage in Al ghoul Kingdom.

And the night of the marriage finally came, everyone was there. But the Princess of creazione eloped. Our family was not able to handle the embarrassment.

So, we took it in our hands for the revenge. We decided to kill every heir of the king.

Though their Kingdom grew because of the cousin's son and daughters.

But the king was not able to have a heir of his own that was alive.

But later on with much disappointment, there was a son who was born. To protect him a special squad was created called 'difesa'

They were really good at the job. So the King's son had daughter and then the daughter got married and then they had kids and blah blah blah

We were not able to kill any one after the creation of difesa team. But when I took control over this Kingdom I decided that the next heir needs to be killed.

So on the day, when the heir was born I planned a huge attack on it. Almost all the Royals present in the kingdom were killed except the heir.

When they got to know I was behind the attack that happened. They decided to kill you after you were born so I advice you to be careful.

I was dumbfounded. Like really what in the world.

"So you are telling me they wanted to kill me...for what you did" I asked her.

"Well yes. But I know you are strong enough to deal with him damian"
