(marinette pov)
I am late to school once again, God hawkmoth looks like he never wants us to rest, he sent an akuma at 1:30am who gets negative emotions at that time in the morning.

The answer for that is that a girl got a nightmare at the middle of night and unfortunately she was alone at home. It took total of 40 minutes to defeat the akuma. Hawkmoth is getting more cruel everyday.

Anyway back to the present I am getting scolded for getting late. Nothing new.

"Marinette why are you late?" Ms bustier asked.

I had the slightest urge to say that I got late because Mr hawkmoth didn't get sleep and decided to send an akuma using a 11yr girl emotions because of which I didn't get sleep but oh well I went with "I am sorry ms bustier I will not repeat it"

"OK marinette just don't repeat it and meet me at the lunch break I have something to tell you" she smiled at me and I returned the gesture. I went to sit with my best friend chloe right after lila came everyone tossed me aside just for a duplicate shiny toy. My only friends are chloe,Kim, Alex.

♒♒♒♒♒time skip ♒♒♒♒to lunch break ♒♒♒♒

Chloe was painting her nails, I was eating a crossiant and Kim and Alix were having a some kind of challenge in the courtyard. Just as I was about to enjoy the peace, a annoying voice shrieked.

"My hand it's paining because I tried to help a old woman with her bags which were very heavy this morning and got my hand bruised" then she started to tear up, the sheep came to console her and adrien helped her to lift the tray saying "I am glad that ur helping others lila" gosh I thought he was smart now I am giving it a second thought.

Looks like I am forgetting something omg Ms bustier asked me to meet her, I stood up and ran to the staff room.

I knocked on the door, there was a faint come in I went in to see Ms bustier drinking coffee. She looked up from the papers she was reading and smiled at me.

"I am glad that you didn't forget to come. Please take a seat marinette" I sat across her

I asked if she needed anything with a smile.

She smiled and said "No I called you to give an advice before you question what is it I am going to say that there is a competition held in America u have to write an essay about any one place in America that inspires and the person who wins will get a scholarship in the costliest University of the written place and 2 weeks trip to the place. And the trip is for the whole class"

"But why are you doing this miss" Ms bustier said "because I know here your having a hard time u have a lot of talent u can even win the scholarship and make ur future don't miss the opportunity marinette" I smiled and said thank you and I left I was thinking hard because going to different place will be awesome but there is still hawkmoth.

I entered cafeteria to find all the class except my friends surrounding the snake (lila) and the other listening to her tale like a sheep (class). I think I should apply for the competition and I can use kaalki to teleport me here during akuma battles.

Feeling happy about my decision I went to tell my friends about the competition.

"At least u would get rid of all these bullshit" Chloe said

"I wish I could come but my mom is staying here so I would like to spend time with her sorry bug" chloe sighed adding the last part.

"That's fine queenie u should spend time with her but first let me win the contest" I said smiling at her.

"Your gonna win mari" Alix said suddenly shifting her attention to the conversation.

"Thanks Alix"

And that time liar saw us I meant lila saw us and said "oh marinette what was Ms bustier saying to u. Was she scolding you u know because u were late and all as always, you know guys I heard Ms bustier yell at her pretty badly I felt sorry for her"

"She deserves it lila, don't care about her" said none other than alya the reporter. I was about to retort back but the bell stopped me.

Let's see how long this will last.

My room changed a lot it is a bit more spacious and there is no pink it is all blue, grey, black. Even my outfit changed and my hair got a lot darker and it comes up to my waist.

I was looking up for the information about the competition just then I heard a knock on my window I went to the balcony to meet the Famous chat noir.

When he saw me he started to smirk.

"What do you want chat noir"

"Oh nothing a birdie told me that you are not friends with lila and her friends. I came to ask the reason"

Seriously as if hearing lila in school was not enough that the superhero is also asking!!.

"The reason is that I don't like her lies"

"I know she was lieing about ladybug but why don't you believe her other achievement, don't say that ur jealous"

And he started to laugh, oh god I want to push him off the railing. But again I did nothing and left without answering.

I went to my room and locked the door I don't want to waste my breath on a sheep. Or a mere stupid you believes everything they hear
