Then my mind wondered to last night, she seems pretty happy today. I wonder what happened.
As I continued walking up the stairs I saw everyone surrounding certain someone I went to see what was the chaos about.
It was lila covered with many bruises, the bruises were pretty bad.
(Marinette POV)
I was about to reach the courtyard but someone dragged me outside, it was my friends. "Good morning chloe"
"Bad morning bug, lila came up with a new lie, she has wore makeup to look like she is bruised and she is telling everyone that u beat her"
Not this thing again. Always why is it me. I am tired of this.
"Maybe we should just drown her in water to remove all that make up" I suggested
I smiled at the plan, chloe saw me smiling and raised an eyebrow at me.
"Bug she wore waterproof makeup I already tried it. They all were pretty angry at me for emptying my water bottle on her" and my smile disappeared with that sentence.
However I can't go to home so I went to the courtyard everyone were glaring at me. Isn't that just wonderfully pleasing.
"Why me marinette what did I do to u yesterday I still remember ur words you said that 'now I can sleep peacefully and be happy tomorrow'"
I knew it I should have bought some earplugs yesterday at least it would have saved me from hearing unnecessary things.
After that dialogue everyone went to went to console liela rossi , some came to slap, punch and kick me i tried my best to dodge but all my former friends are stronger than me, my friends were held back by some people so that they can't help me.
I could have easily taken them down one by one but I just can't show them that I have good reflexes. I have to pretend to be a weak and clumsy marinette.
After some time the bell rang, alya, nino, adrien went to help lila stand.
Everyone hurried to their classes chloe, Alix, Kim came up to me I told them I will wash my face and come, and they should go because it was mendeleive class.
I went and washed some blood that came from my bruises,I went to class mentally preparing for scolding from teacher for being late and the glares that I will receive.
Lucky for me teacher was not in class and was in the meeting so I won't get scolding but again the whole class except my friends were glaring, I went to sit and started the assignment the teacher gave.
The most thing about my former friends that hurts is that at some point in time they were all my best friends. I sighed as the teacher came.

I was sitting in the library thinking about which place should I mention in the essay.
Then I started wondering if anyone asked me to write about Paris i will definitely mention superheroes and why we adore them.
Then the question came into my mind why do they adore me and cat noir? I got answer immediately because we give hope to people that everything will be fine no matter what type of villain it is.
I then thought about the word 'hope'. Do people in the most crime and corruption city lose hope?
I researched and found 'Gotham'. I completed the essay I wrote why i researched this particular city, some of the judges were Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Mr Gordon etc who were going to choose the winner.
I went to have my lunch after I sent the email I have to wait three more days for the results.

I wanted to relax so I went to Andre there I saw adrien and lila, Alya and nino sharing the sweetheart icecream. If I was the same marinette before lila came then I would have cried that adrien is sharing icecream with someone that was not me.
I didn't give it much thought and went to get the icecream from Andre, he gave some variety flavours that surprised me. I payed the amount and started to eat the icecream though the colour of the icecream didn't match but flavour accompanied each other very well. It felt good after going to Andre. I went home completed my homework, ate dinner and went to patrol.

It was peaceful night there hadn't been an akuma I sat beside catnoir I despised him more because he started insulting me as marinette.

"Easiest question because ur amazing, adorable, u save people everyday, ur beautiful ,---" he was about to continue when I cut him off by saying
"No I will not go on a date with u" with that I swung and went away
The reason I said no is because he thinks ladybug is adorable, amazing, smart, saves people everyday whereas he thinks marinette is jealous, dumb, beats lila everyday. I wish things were different. And I fell into a uncomfortable sleep.
