John is a target of bullying as he's an ordinary, powerless boy studying at an academy for people with powers. He's always saved by Seraphina, the most powerful girl in the school who happens to be his best friend. But the tables have turned when Seraphina lost her powers to the evil organization, EMBER. Now that she's become a new target for bullying, John is forced to reveal his secret that can trample the hierarchy.
Review:
This is basically a webcomic in a Boku no Hero Academia setting, Umbrella Academy plot twist, and One Punch Man hierarchy.
It is similar to BNHA's superhero academy concept except the hierarchy in this series is taken too seriously that they trample on each other unlike BNHA whose different departments support each other. John has a similar situation with Umbrella Academy's Vanya being low key powerful yet forced to suppress their powers for the benefit of all. Lastly, in OPM's similarity to hierarchy - the strong and famous are credited while the low key overpowered ones get the short end of the stick.
I really like the art of the webcomic. I would be willing to start a petition for this to be animated if I could. I'm pretty sure the action scenes in this would be lit. I gave it a 3-star for the mean time because I'm still unsatisfied with the chapter that I'm currently tailing - John has been on a rampage and the plot's been dragging on just because Arlo has too much pride to admit that he's weaker. Poor John, all he ever wanted was Seraphina's comeback. If only he channeled his berserk energy to EMBER and not Arlo's pathetic hierarchy, he could've avenged Seraphina better.
