I woke up to find Luke’s fist coming closer to my face. I grabbed his fist and twisted it. I realized what I was doing and released my grip. I looked up and saw the sun in the moon’s place. I squinted my eyes at the glare. I looked down at Luke who just sat in front of me and just waited for me to come back. “What happened?” I asked.

“Isaac, how old are you?” Luke asked. I sighed

“Twelve” I was the youngest eighth grade in Blue-water Heights High School. Everyone in my grade has their birthdays between January and June, mine is in August.

“Good, you are the right age for your body” Luke told me.

“What?” I asked so confused.

“Isaac, the day school started you hit your head and kept waking in your past. First, you were three, then you woke up at the age of six. Eventually you stopped waking. Isaac, you’re a …” Luke stumbled “Werewolf, I know” I said with no emotion. It felt like I was in a trance.

“How did you find out?” Luke asked surprised.

“Because I’m right here,” A deep voice came out my mouth.

“Welcome Isaiah” Luke said as he stood up and offered a hand. I accepted, I stood swaying as I got a dizzy spell. Luke put his hands out to support me. He grabbed my hand and put it on his shoulder. We started to walk and he was the leader.

After a while it felt like I was fighting for my own body. I looked up at the sky and saw the moon rising. A loud ringing sound filled my head, I grabbed my head closed my eyes and fell to my knees. “I’ve asked Hamish to come, he won’t be too long. Try to stay in control.” Luke was struggling to stay calm. “What in the name of the Lord is happening to me?” I growled with my eyes changing colours. Everything was red, “Isaac, are there?” Luke asked cautiously.

“Am I invisible; yes” I said sarcastically as my bones breaking and moving. I felt something behind me I looked. There was something it was small, fast and I could feel the darkness that the creature withheld. I looked at Luke and he looked scared. I soon realized I had paws for hands and feet. Luke started running towards the edge of the woods and I knew he was running home I followed; I had to start jogging to stay with him.
