나은 사랑해 -amnesia-(long hiatus)

Introduction

I am Lee Tae-Min (이태민), 22 this year. My neighbour is a girl named Son Na-Eun (손나은), she's one year younger than me. It's quite annoying... She always have a ton of fanboys (from who knows where), crowding at her doorstep, pleading to be in a relationship with her. Even after being rejected several times, these persistent jerks still do not give up. It's so hard to get out of the crowd just to go to school. She goes to the same school as me, so... I guess it's actually harder for her. Her mum couldn't do much to help her either...

Today, there actually seems to be more people than usual. There were a group of boys who started tugging at her, forcing her to follow them. She tried to push them away, but to no avail. I walked towards her, held her hand and walked off. It just occurred to me that my body moved on its own. It was the first time I noticed how small her hands were. I do admit I held her hands around because of her continuous crying which was seemingly annoying. The fanboys looked at me with anger in their eyes like they were trying to kill me or something. I just ignored them as it didn't really matter. I've got the average looks and hair which were too long for a guy.

"Naeun ah you've got really small hands." I said looking at our hands. "...Taemin oppa... you just have big hands..." She shot back. "Oh..." I said as I remembered many people saying that... For the rest of the trip to school, it was just silence and us holding hands. I wasn't really close to her and it actually felt weird whenever I held her hand.

When we reached school, it was like the usual stuff. We went to our classroom and me not being noticed by anyone, while Naeun having a crowd around her. We are like total opposites. "Taemin oppa thank you for today..." a soft, yet high pitched voice came from the seat beside me. Turning around I see the smiling face of the girl who was always causing trouble for me but which I did not mind. "It's o-okay" I replied. Did I just stammer?! I thought to myself. I have always been someone who doesn't stammer or hesitate on what I wanted to say. "What's wrong with me today?!" I murmured to myself. I felt me cheeks grow hot. "Are you alright? " Naeun said placing a hand onto my forehead.

"Y-yeah" I replied.
