Lhett it Happen in the Rhink

Part 1

Chapter 1: The Plan

"Aaannnnddd cut" Morgan yell out.

Rhett stands up. "Link, we need to find the money for the meat things we're going to do later this week."

"Ok" Link wobbles over to the dressing room. Link is wearing dark blue skinny jeans that bunch at the ankles. Green shirt with verticle purple stripes. He finishes off his look with dirty brown loafers that gave him that hipster feel. And to top if off, his hair was flopped out likes wings, as if it could fly.

Suddenly, Link felt a breeze. And then, some hair touched his own arm hair. Huh? Link said in his head. The next thing he saw was Rhett's feet gliding away from him. Was that.... Rhett? Link's inner monologue was racing. The only reason reason it was racing, was because suddenly Link was thinking that maybe he has feelings for his best buddy. Link and Rhett have been friends since the first grade.

"Hey Rhett?" Link reaches out to his bud.

"Yeah man?" Rhett's piercing green eyes, the color of mould, stare back into Link's blue orbs.

"Woudja.... Woudja.... Woudja like t-to go ice skating with me?" Link stutters out.

"Uhhh... well when? Cause I'll need to check my schedule" Rhett pulls out his yellow iPhone and opens up his calendar app. "How about next Friday at 4:30?" Next Friday, well that was tomorrow.

"Yeah!" Link exlaimes "I'll be free then!" Link smiles a small smile to himself and hopes his plan will work. If only Rhett knew why he wants to go ice skating. Sure, Link likes ice skating, but his real plan is to tell Rhett that he likes Rhett. Rhett Rhett Rhett. Those were the only words Link seemed to think of these days.

"Hey do you mind giving me ride home today?" Link asks his friend from first grade politely.

"Link, I give you a ride to and 'fro work every day! It's every day bro!" Rhett chuckles, quoting Jake Paul, another fellow youtuber (A/N NO I DON'T LIKE JAKE PAUL I JUST NEEDED TO PUT THAT IN THERE. ALSO SHANE DAWSON IS SO COOL AND HIS DOCUSERIES IS AMAZEBALLS AND I FREAKING LOVE HIM.).

"Didn't know you are a Logan Paul fan" Link laughs in responce. What else didn't he know about Rhett? Maybe Rhett was also into Link. Link could only hope.

Rhett said nothing in responce. And off away he walked the second time in just a short couple minutes, this time humming "I wish I were in Barcelona now..."

Dang, Link wanted so badly to walk on the avenue in Barcelona with Rhett. Holding hands,, not another care in the world. Honestly Link would forget gmm for Rhett! Well, Rhett is gmm. (A/N Yes, I know Rhett is half of gmm and that Rhett can't BE gmm but he RUNS gmm but link thinks that Rhett IS gmm)

Just then, Chase walks in. Link is furious. He is ruining a precious moment between him and Rhett. Link also has these suspicious feelings about Chase, Link thinks that Chase also likes Rhett.

"Hey Rhett" Chase says, winking into the room.

"Hi!" Rhett says enthusiactially but Link hopes that Rhett is pretending his excitement.

"Hello... Chase" Link says, eyes furrowed and burrowing into Chase's own orbs.

"Hello... Link...." Chase frowns, puffs out his chest, walking over to Link with determination. "Whatcha gonna do Link? Fire me?"

"Don't push it Chase"

"You know you and Rhett have to agree on firing and Rhett would never fire me, right rhett?" Chase's teeth glimmer in the florescent lighting of the dressing room.

"Never would, Chase-o"

"Well, I've had enough." Link storms out like a storm on a sunny day. He doesn't stop until he gets to Rhett's car.

"Dude what's wronguhuguhgu?" Rhett says, out of breath from following Link. He opens his car with his car keys and hops in.

"I donno man. I know Chase is joking but I just am not sure if I want to have Chase work in our mythical company anymore." Link wanted him fired, he didn't need any more competition, not after all these years.

"Link, you're my best buddy." Rhett turns and stares back into Link's eyes. Link almost tears up he looks so beautiful. "Chase is kidding around, but if really means so much to you, we can fire him." Rhett puts his hand on Link's shoulder. Link tenses up. Could this be it? Will Rhett finally confess his love? Link just knows its there. And then, Rhett's thumb grazes over Link's chin. Link knows this is only 2 seconds but it feels like 2 years.

"You've got a little pork blood there." Rhett wipes off the red substance. Rhett backs up and wipes his dirty tumb on a napkin. And with that, Link's heart drops. All the way down into his brown loafers. And just at that moment, they pull up to Link's house.

"We'll talk about Chase tomorrow" Rhett opens the passenger door for Link to get out, smiles sheepily, and walks back to his side of the car.

"See ya tomorrow, Rhett" Link is sad that Rhett only wiped off pork blood. He just needs something to happen.

"Bye Link" and with that, Rhett rolls away.
