Y'all I'm looking for a boo, but these bitches are toxic. If you know of someone who's patient, gentle, and won't get on my damn nerves hmu lmao.

Grace's POV

I watched as she paced. She'd been at it for nearly 30 minutes.

"Janet, please sit down."

"Can't." She simply stated, still pacing.

I let out a sight, "Jan-" Her feet came to a halt as she looked up at me.

"Who voted for me to stay alive?"

I remained silent. If I told her, she would lose her mind. Then again, if I didn't tell her, she would ask everybody herself and they would find out that I told her.

"Grace. Answer me." Her tone was stern and unwavering. I continued to stare at her until her hardened expression softened. "Grace... please."

I arched my eyebrow, allowing my feet to continue to dangle from the bed. "Come sit beside me." She hesitantly obeyed and made her way onto the bed. Finally. I turned to face her, "You're going to drive yourself insane."

She let out a laugh. Maybe she was already there. "Me?! The only people driving me insane are all of you! Everywhere I turn it's a secret!"

I let out a sigh, "Jan, if I tell you who voted to pull the plug, what will that solve? It'll only make things worse and-"

"Half of my family voted to kill me. They didn't care about making anything worse then! If it hadn't been for you, they would have-"

"Exactly." I stated, cutting her off. My hands laid on top of hers, soothingly. "If it hadn't been for me. But baby, I was there. And I fought so hard for you, and I won. You're here right now. You're breathing right now. You're staring at me with those big, gorgeous, brown eyes... right now." I caressed her face. Sure, I was still fuming about her inexplainable hickeys, but right now she needed stability, and if I were being honest, I knew she hasn't had it since she woke up.

She needed me.

Her body seemed to melt from the skin contact. Now, she was calm.

"Grace... I'm sorry, I just-"

"I know." I cupped her face, "... but there's something I don't know." Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, until it dawned on her. "Who was it, Janet?" My fingers slid their way over her fading hickeys.

Her eyes watered while she shook her head, "I didn't have sex with her."

I remained calm. I was feeling far too exhausted to wild out... Maybe later. "I didn't ask if you had sex with her." My tone remained gentle, yet stern. "I asked who."

Silence.

She stared at me and I stared at her. I could see the nervousness in her eyes. Who ever it was, she was scared to tell me. I slowly arched my eyebrow, before removing my hands and hopping off the bed.

"Grace, please!" She followed me as I grabbed my keys and slid my slides on. "Where are you going?" I continued to ignore her. I wasn't too sure what my plan was, but I knew where my body was leading me.

"Watch the children, Janet." And with that I made my way out of the house.

Janet's POV 9:02pm

Here I lay all alone. This California King bed couldn't keep me as warm as she could. Her dark skin, cascading curls, plump lips, goofy personality, comforting embrace... Her light skin, cascading curls, plump lips, strong personality, cold embrace, airy voice, bedroom eyes, haunting history...
