So basically, the monsters (or "Desperation Pawn" as the bad guys call them) are summoned when a group of people feel despair. The summoner will do a "despair check" which is checking if there is enough despair that can be used for summoning. If so, the summoner will freeze the despairing people, taking the despair out of them. Afterwards, the summoner will take whatever they use as a weapon and point it at an object, infecting it. It will then turn into a Desperation Pawn.
