"You see- don't worry we're nearing the end of the chapter- it's the neutrons that affect the relative atomic mass of the atoms."

Peter groaned quietly, tapping his pencil against his desk repeatedly.

He was stuck in his AP Chemistry class- which just so happened to be the last period of the day.

He'd learnt about whatever his teacher was teaching ages ago, and his bully, Flash, was in this class, firing spitballs and any rude cuss that came to mind at a volume just out of the teacher's earshot.

Peter felt that he had every right to throw himself out the window.

At least he had one thing to look forward to though- It was a Friday, which meant that he got to stay at the Stark Towers for the weekend with the Avengers.

The Avengers were really cool to live with- they were like a family to Peter.

A dysfunctional and crazy one- but a family all the same.

Peter couldn't wait to see them again.

Rephrase that-

Peter couldn't wait to see him again.

Bucky Barnes.

Sure, the Avengers were super fricking cool, but..

Oh god Bucky Barnes.

Ever since Peter moved into the tower, he soon discovered his unholy obsession with the man.

He'd memorized the super-soldier's training schedule without even knowing just to be able to join him "coincidentally"- giving him a chance to catch a glimpse of the man's solid muscles at work.

He'd try his best to "accidentally" run into the super-soldier, only to chicken out at the last moment and run away before the man saw him.

He'd find any excuse to walk past the sergeant's room.

It took Peter a while to figure out that he had a massive crush on the Winter Soldier- but when he did, he vowed to get rid of it as he was sure the older man would never speak to him again if he'd found out.

But to no avail.

Peter was hopelessly in love.

Nobody knew about Peter's secret pining, except for himself- and maybe Karen.

Peter just couldn't find anything wrong with the man.

His quiet, dark and mysterious demeanor.

His ability to scare the hell out of anyone who did so much as breathe at him wrongly.

His charming personality.

And his handsome, rugged looks.

Oh my god.

His brown luscious soft hair, perfectly falling down both sides of his perfect face.

His piercing blue eyes.

His jawline. His chiseled stubbled jawline.

His pink lips.
