"Oh my goodness, you have the whole team of Avengers after you? Mr Stark was right, you are screwed!"

Peter groaned, pinching his nose-bridge exasperatedly.

Peter was screwed.

Very screwed.

Incredibly screwed.

Magnificently screwed.

Ever since that dinner (now coined the 'Why Peter Doesn't Like Steamboats Anymore Dinner™️' by Peter himself), time seemed to pass by in a blur..

..and before Peter knew it, it was the night before the field trip.

So, not wanting to wallow in self-pity by himself, Peter had dialed his two (and only) best friends in the whole world, who were already caught up on the situation, due to Peter incessant complaining in school.

"Sorry Pete, but I gotta say, Ned's right on this one." MJ added unhelpfully, her voice echoing out of Peter's computer.

"Ugh- guys. Don't I get like- any sympathy. Like, at all?" Peter deadpanned, crossing his arms in a huff.

"Like, no." Ned and MJ responded mockingly at the same time, causing the trio to burst out in laughter.

"Damn, we share one brain cell." Ned observed, still laughing. "What would the cell's name be though? MNed? NedJ?"

"Wow. Thanks Ned." Peter rolled his eyes in mock offense.

"It's the truth, though! If we had all shared one brain cell, we would've figured out who Mystery-Man was." MJ piped up, failing to suppress a cheeky grin as Peter groaned once more, covering his face in his hands.

"Oh my god- MJ we're meeting him tomorrow! We're meeting Spider-Man's crush!" Ned squealed, grinning wildly.

"No you are not. Who says you're going to?" Peter moaned in annoyance, throwing himself back into his chair, allowing himself to spin around a little.

"Uhm, excuse me," MJ scoffed, "Please don't insult our intelligence."

"Yeah! You practically live at Stark Industries, and talk about Mystery-Man like- every day, dude. He must live there, or at least, work there." Ned reasoned incessantly.

"Okay- listen-"

"And, not counting the fact that you've let it slip once that he caught you midnight snacking and raiding Mr Stark's fridge once. Unless you're chill with a stranger visiting Stark Towers to conveniently catch you whenever you choose to midnight snack, I'd say he lives there." MJ continued, earning a smug smirk from Ned, who finished, "Conclusion, he lives at Stark Towers and we're gonna meet him tomorrow."
