So! I drew an OC of mine! One that might come up in a romance book I might make...
The romance in there will be light, probably just hugs and kisses and compliments, nothing really awkward like:
"Oh, Sam! I'm in love with you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Christine said with a kissy face.
"lEt'S kIsS bAbY" Sam said, and then they kissed so passionately-
YEAH NO I'M NOT CONTINUING THIS, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO JUST BE AN EXAMPLE BUT I MADE IT SUPER WEIRD XDDD
But you get my drift. I'm going to make it light. Taking the example from above, let's change it to match how it would be in the upcoming book:
"Sam...? I... um... left my bag in the living room. Would you mind...?" Christine asked awkwardly.
"Oh, um - no problem. I'll go get it for you." Sam said, walking out of the room. Once he returned with the bag, he held it out to her.
As Christine reached for the bag, her fingers touched Sam's hand. Both of them froze, a light blush spreading across their cheeks like butter on toast. She quickly pulled her hand away with the bag.
"Oh! Um... sorry." Christine said nervously.
"No, um... it's okay." Sam said. The awkward silence between them grew thicker.
"Well, I guess I'll see you later Sam." Christine said with a nervous laugh. Sam laughed a bit too.
"Yeah, see you."
And Christine closed the door behind her, unable to think of anything else but that moment.
END OF EXAMPLE.
So... yeah. Just gave you a little feel for how it will actually be - more of a platonic romance, but still in love with each other. I don't know how romantic love feels like so I'm just going on a whim here.
ANYWAY, TIME FOR THE ACTUAL DRAWING, WHAT I WAS MEANT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE XDDDDD
Here it is! :D
This is Elisa, a socially awkward bean who was born into a rich family and is spoiled. BUT THE TWIST IS-
She's not a brat XD
Her parents decided one day that Elisa should go to a public school to get a feel for how the less fortunate people feel everyday, so that she can be grateful for the riches she has.
Elisa was always shy and reserved in the private prep school she'd been attending ever since she was six, so she saw it as an opportunity to be more social and make new friends at this new school.
She has to deal with suck ups and fake friends, bullies and how to understand social cues, and, of course - romance. But romance is only, like - a quarter of the book. Half of it is drama and the other quarter is a bunch of fluff. f

Anyway, I hope you like my drawing, and are excited for the new upcoming book! :D
Stay safe and have a great day/night! <3 <3
