The pitter patter of the rain drops hitting the window made him uneasy, after all, Lorencio was locked in a room with his mortal enemy, the one and only August Moody. August Moody, a 21 year old male, graced with green eyes so beautiful that they could rival the emeralds in Lorencio's rings, hair white putting even the first snow of the winter to shame and skin so pale you would think that he were a porcelan doll.

Lorencio always found himself looking at the other male, how could he not? It was true he was very attractive, anyone with good eyesight could see it, but to Lorencio, August best feature was his stone cold look, so intense and intimidating that it could bring down even the bravest of men. What could Lorencio say other than that August Moody was born a hero, and probably will die a hero, the only problem was that it was most likely to be by Lorencio's hand's that the young hero would meet his fate. Lorencio didn't usually mind the role of the bad guy, but meeting August Moody changed that.

Lorencio Ward, a 20 year old male, cursed with crimson red eyes, almost like their representing the blood of his previous enemy's, hair as black as his soul and tan skin. They were opposites in every sense, men who couldn't help but be mortal enemies, ironically August could always be found wearing black robes and clothes, and Lorencio wore white ones.

This whole situation was a shame really, Lorencio was so madly in love with August Moody, his enemy a man he had to kill to survive, someone he knew could never love him back, and so he never said anything, kept on a façade, played along the role of the bad guy, pretended like he didn't care every time August got even the smallest of injuries. He took to being alone, not speaking to his leader or other members of their party, instead he wrote, all his feelings, put into words delicately on the rough parchment, he wrote until his wrist hurt, until the sun began to peek from behind the hills in the distance, until all the tears were shed and his stained cheeks were dry.

Why didn't he leave? Why didn't he choose happiness? Because he could never be free knowing that those people, that call themselves his family, do to his beloved August. The thoughts brought a sudden pain to his chest that Lorencio recognized too good.

"You've been awfully quite, penny for your thoughts?" soft and smooth like honey, the words rolled of off tongue with ease, he sounded concerned but they both knew better than to believe each others words and how they were spoken. "Just though about the situation we're in right now." Lorencio was uneasy because his enemy, the person he's supposed to despise with all his being, is standing in Lorencio's bedroom, where all those letters he had written for August were. "Oh my god, you're thinking for once in your life, sorry if I seem shocked, after all this is a rare happening." even when August mocked him Lorencio thought he was the kindest man alive.

"Oh." Lorencio gave up fighting August a long time ago, added to that was the worry of August actually finding the letters. He was trying to come up with a plan to hide the letters, that were located on his desk, somewhere more secluded. "Seriously what is it with you today, I literally barged through the window and into your room ready to fight you and you are just sitting there, all sad and gloomy." confusion, the best words to describe the look on Augusts face.

"Well August, not all of us feel happy all the time and are being praised every step we take." Lorencio's voice was laced with sarcasm. "That what you think of me Lorencio?" August was taunting him with the way he spoke, the way Lorencio's name was spoken, if he did something's that are not very gentleman like to August, then he couldn't blame anyone but himself, not August for speaking such voice, but himself for not being strong enough to resist those urges. The urges to stand up and walk over to August and pull him down into a passionate kiss, the urge to lay down on his soft bed with August on top of him, his head on Lorencio's stomach, a perfect position for Lorencio to run his slender fingers through August's soft show white hair.

"Maybe." Lorencio stated as he watched August stand up off of his bed "Tch." came August's reply as he moved towards Lorencio's desk "And what do we have here? Letter's. For whom might they be?" fear struck Lorencio suddenly and he was out of his window seat in seconds running towards August at a speed even he didn't know he possessed, but it was still to late seeing as August reacted fast and turned away while holding Lorencio's forehead as a way to prevent him from taking them away.

"Do not read those August. This is invading my privacy." desperation evident in his voice, Lorencio was trying his hardest to get ahold of the letters. He helplessly watched as August's face morphed from happiness to confusion and then into that of realization. "How long?" August's voice was firme and demanding "Ever since we had our first fight." replied Lorencio. "That was 3 years ago, Lorencio. That's a long time. You should've told me sooner." August didn't seem mad but who was Lorencio to judge someone like August, someone so perfect in his eyes.

"Even if I did tell you sooner, nothing would have changed." Lorencio moved back to his window seat "What do you mean 'Nothing would have changed', of course everything would have changed, fuck Lorencio you could have been standing along side me fighting for the right thing all this time." August walked over to him, standing barely a meter in front Lorencio.

"I couldn't even if I tried to, they would've killed you." Lorencio looked up at him "That's bullshit and you know it too, they could've never killed me. They never did in the past." August kneeled in front of him looking upset and desperate, for what Lorencio didn't know. "So what do you want me to say now." Lorencio didn't know where this was going so he might as well be reckless with his word's "I want to hear you say it. You know what I mean Lorencio." of course Lorencio knew, he always did.

"I love you August, ever since you almost impaled me with that sword of yours, I know that it sounds stupid and idiotic, but aren't all the fools in love idiots, isn't that what they all say? I wish it were different times, different circumstances, because then I could love you the way I want to." Lorencio was crying, but he was used to it. That night August kissed the tears away.

That night August stayed and smothered Lorencio's face with kisses until he fell asleep.

That night Lorencio fell asleep In August's arms.

Lorencio fell asleep in his arms.
