Kaminari POV
I heard raindrops hit my window. At first it was soft and not to loud, but the rain poured even harder by the second and I eventually woke up. I reached for my phone and opened it up to see what time it was. 7:32 A.M. I let out a sigh and got up from my bed to get ready for school.
I was exhausted. I spent all night working on my homework, but I didn't even get to finish it. I would have asked Bakugou or Yaomomo to help me, but they were asleep by then. I didn't understand anything, and I ended up short-circuiting. God, I hate homework. I knew I had to come up with a good excuse, but I know Aizawa is tired of my excuses so Ill probably end up getting detention.
I walked into my bathroom, splashed some water on my face and dried it with a towel. I got my toothbrush and toothpaste and started to brush my teeth. After that I got my hairbrush and brushed my hair and put it up in a ponytail because I felt like it.
My uniform was on the floor in the corner of my room. I grabbed my pants, threw those on and then put the shirt on. I found some socks in my closet, so I put them on even though they had bananas all over it. I put on my shoes and my belt and stuffed my books into my bag and headed out the door. The rain finally stopped pouring down.
-Downstairs-
"Hey Kaminari!" Iida told me as the elevator opened. Not gonna lie, that always scared the shit out of me. He always just pops out of nowhere.
"Jeez man. You gotta stop doing that." I told him as I left the elevator and he followed me.
"Sorry, Kaminari. I'll make sure to stop doing that from now on. Did you sleep well?" He asked moving his hands like a robot again.
"Yeah, of course I did. Why wouldn't I?" I lied and grabbed an apple from the kitchen. Iida looked deep into my eyes and then eyed me up and down. I bit my apple and then took my phone out from my pocket.
"Your eyes are red. Are sure you slept well? You also forgot to wear your tie and there's a bunch of paper coming out from your bag, it looks like a huge mess. You must me tired." He replied.
I looked up from my phone and saw Iida on the other side of the counter. "I'm fine. Just spent all night doing homework, but I'm good. I swear." I replied. My math book slipped out of my bag, and I picked it up.
"I'll leave you alone then. Have a good day!" He replied and walked away towards Midoriya. "Yeah, bye." I replied and shoved my math book back in my bag.
"You're pathetic." I heard Jirou's voice near me, but didn't see her. "Yeah, I know." I replied and waited for her to come out from wherever she was. She poked her head out from behind the wall and then walked towards me. "You're a mess. Also, why are you wearing banana socks?" She replied pointing and my feet.
"I don't know." I replied and picked up my bag. "Let me guess. You slept horribly, probably short-circuited last night cuz you didn't understand the homework and you also didn't actually finish it." She guessed and well she was right.
"Fine. You guessed it." I bit my apple again and opened my phone again. "I can give you the answers to the homework if you want." She suggested. "No, it's fine. It's my fault for not doing it." I replied. I didn't want Aizawa to realize that I copied of her.
"Whatever. I'm gonna go now bye." She walked away and went to join Tsuyu and Yaomomo. I sighed and looked at her walk away. The uniform always looked good on her. I wish I could hang out with her more.
"Dunce face. Did you finish the homework?" Bakugou walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. "About that..." I rubbed the back of my neck, in embarrassment. "Of course you didn't." He sighed and grabbed the leftover spicy noodles he made yesterday.
