Chapter 8

Kaminari's POV

My mom walked into the house and took off her shoes. Before putting her shoes down she stared at me, with a look of disappointment on her face. Dammit did I already make a bad impression.

"Denki. How's U.A. Did they kick you out for your horrible grades." She seemed amused about what she said but hearing that from my own mother, hurts.

"No, they didn't." I replied in the most serious tone I could make. "That's a surprise I thought at this point they would expel some useless trash like you. Your just excess baggage that they have to deal with. I can't believe they put up with you, your so annoying." She said laughing at her comment.

I was pissed. She really doesn't know how to think before speaking. She sat down at the table, my aunt went upstairs to do something which meant that it was just me and my mom at the table starting to eat.

"Unhealthy food huh. Denki if you want to be a decent hero don't eat this stuff you'll get fat." She grabbed the bottom of my shirt and pulled in up to see my stomach. "Nevermind, eat up. Your basically skin and bone underneath there. Are you even working out at school?" My mother asked.

"Yeah..." I said and bit into my burger. She was starting to make me angry. I was getting pissed real fast.

"Your aunt told me that you said you got stronger, you still look puny and weak. I came all this way to see for strong my little boy became but your still skinny and have barely any muscles. I'm disappointed." That's it. Im tired of her stupid ass insults.

"FIRST OF ALL I DONT WANT YOU CALLING ME YOUR LITTLE BOY IF YOU COULDN'T EVEN TAKE CARE OF ME WHEN I WAS ONE. YOU THINK WHAT YOUR SAYING DOESNT HURT ME, BUT IT DOES. I THINK ABOUT IT EVERY NIGHT, YOUR THE REASON I HATE MYSELF. YOU KNOW WHAT, WHY DID YOU EVEN BOTHER TO COME. IF YOUR JUST GONNA THROW A BUNCH OF INSULTS AT ME YOU COULD HAVE JUST NOT COME, I'D PREFER IF YOU DIDNT. I'D PREFER IT IF YOU DIDN'T EVEN EXIST, IF I WAS NEVER RELATED TO YOU.  YOUR A TERRIBLE MOTHER. FUCK YOU!" I got up from the table put on my shoes and ran outside.

"I fucking hate her." I whispered as I ran outside into the rain. My clothes quickly got wet and so did my hair.

But I didn't give a shit about that, I meant everything I said to her. She ruined my life.

I saw a bus stop near by and had a bit of money in my pocket so I could use it for one ride. I'd have to call someone to come and pick me up later. I waited for the bus, in the rain. I had so many missed calls from my aunt but ignored them all. I opened my phone and called Jirou. She was the only one that could help me.

She picked up the phone instantly. "Denki, did something happen!" She asked worriedly over the phone. "Got into a fight with my mom... and ran away." I replied quietly.

"WHAT!! DENKI ARE YOU INSANE! WHAT OF YOU GET LOST! IM GONNA TELL AIZAWA RIGHT NOW!" She yelled over the phone. I could hear her opening her door and running through the halls.

"Kyouka." I said. She stopped running around and listened. "Yes." She replied. "I'm gonna be fine. I have enough money for the bus. I'll come back soon. Give me 45 minutes or so. I'll climb in by the window, since the door is going to be locked. Get something ready for me to climb up from." I told her what I was planning to do and she agreed with my decision. We hung up and the bus came right then.

~After Finally Arriving To U.A~

I was able to afford to ride 2 buses and walked the rest of the way to U.A. I found a bush to slide into to get in without security seeing me. I stayed on the ground and crawled on the floor to hide myself. The 1-A dorms was the first one so once I saw it I got up and ran to the back of the building where Kyouka's dorm was.

She was looking out the window waiting for me. When she saw me she looked a bit angry at me but went back in and threw me a long rope to climb. We did this a lot during our training so I was used to it.

I climbed the rope and finally reached the top. Kyouka was right there standing in front of me. "Heyyyy... Sorry about all this trouble. I'll make it up for y-" she grabbed my shirt and pulled me into her dorm and stared into my eyes.

"Stop worrying me like this." She looked up and down at my body. I was covered in mud, my hair was all wet and messy and I did not look the best right now.

"Yeah I kn-" She cut me off again but this time she did something I could have never thought of. She grabbed my face and our lips touched.

The kiss was stiff at first but we then got both more comfortable and our lips moved in sync. Did I just die? Am I in paradise? I thought as I continued to kiss her.

I've been for this moment ever since I saw her.

She slowly let go of my face one hand at a time and changed their positions to around my neck. Our kiss became more wet by the second.

We pulled away and hugged stared into my eyes for a bit and then hugged me. "I missed you. Glad your okay." She replied.

"Yeah..." I whispered back. We let go of each other and she reached under her bed to get an exact mattress for me to sleep on.

"You'll sleep on this for now. I have some oversized clothes in my closet grab some sport shorts and a shirt and get to bed." She told me everything I had to do and I obeyed to her orders.

When I'm came out of the bathroom she was already in her bed with her eyes closed. Wish I could sleep with her, but this will do I guess.

I got onto the mattress, it was quite comfortable actually. "Thank you, it means a lot." I thanked her for all the things she did for me. Supporting me, helping me out and always being by my side.

"You got it, Chargebolt." She replied. I liked it when she called me that, it gave me courage to try harder. We both stayed awake, in complete silence.

"By the way. If your gonna kiss me, give me a heads up okay. This was the first time I've ever kissed a girl so-" She sighed and looked down at my face.

"Don't ever talk about that kiss again. It was just a friendship thing... it's not like I lo- like y- you or anything. So shut up." She replied. I couldn't tell in the dark but by the sound of her voice she probably was blushing at the moment.

"Whatever you say Jirou Jack." She didn't reply yo me so I just simply closed my eyes and went to sleep. I hoped that I would dream of her.
