Jirou POV
We were all waiting for Aizawa to come into class, he was always late, so we were usually just fooling around and talking. Yaomomo was busy talking with Todoroki way in the back, so Mina and Tsu came over to my desk and we started to talk about what we would be doing today for our hero training.
I was a bit worried about Kaminari though. He doesn't usually look so tired and unenergetic like that. Normally he's always cheerful and happy. I tried to get my mind off him, but I couldn't.
"Do you guys wanna go to the mall with me this weekend?" Mina asked Tsu and me.
"Yeah, sure I'll go. I don't have anything else to do anyway, ribbit." Tsu agreed to the decision.
"Jirou, you coming?" Mina waved her hand in front of me. "Helloooooooo, Jirouuuuu." She clapped her hands in front of my face.
"Huh? What is it?" I asked. "You coming to the mall with us this weekend?" Mina asked, again.
"Um, yeah sure I'll come. I'm free anyway." I replied.
Then the idiot finally walked into the door. Sero was with him. They were both busy doing stuff on their phones. Kaminari had his headphones on, so I assumed that he was listening to music. He sat down at his desk and laid his head on it.
"He looks like a mess." Mina whispered. "Wasn't he so happy yesterday, ribbit?" Tsu replied.
"I wonder if anything happened." Mina replied. "Maybe some bad news and stuff." She added.
"He short-circuited last night." I told them. He already told me about him doing that a couple times before. He never looked too good the next morning after short-circuiting.
Kaminari lifted his head off his desk and toke of his headphones. "Hey Jirou, thanks for putting on my tie." He managed to give me a little grin and then rubbed his eyes.
"How close were you both when that happened. Like close-to-kissing-close or-"Mina whispered in my ear but I cut her off.
"MINA!" I yelled. "What? I'm just curious." She shrugged and looked and Tsu and then whispered something in her ear. "We'll leave you two at it." Mina smirked and grabbed Tsu's hand and walked away to Uraraka.
"Huh?" Kaminari looked so confused, it was kinda funny. I chuckled and looked away. "It's not important." I sighed and then looked back at him. "You look terrible." I said looking at his face. His eyes were so sore.
"Well thanks for the compliment I guess." He rolled his eyes and looked away. "I didn't mean that you don't look handsome, I meant that you look tired." I told him.
"Oh, so you think I look good." He smirked. "What?! No! I meant- "I tired to explain what I meant, but at that exact moment Mr. Aizawa walked in.
"Quiet." He said to everyone as he made his way to the front. "Sit down, get your math book out we're gonna correct the homework." He added. I looked at Kaminari, he didn't seem to be worried at all.
"Okay let's start correcting. Anyone want to answer question 1?" He asked to the class. Most of everyone's hands shot right up, including mine. Aizawa looked around the room and toke a while to pick someone to answer the question.
"Kaminari. You do it." He said. I looked over and Kaminari, he seemed stress all of a sudden. "But sir, there's so many other people raising their hands?" Kaminari answer, nervously.
"Just answer the question." Aizawa sighed and waited for an answer. Kaminari looked down at his paper, pretending to be looking and searching for his answer. "Come on, tell it." Aizawa replied.
"Um it's well uh...." Kaminari kept looking down at his paper. Aizawa walked up to his desk and looked at Kaminari's paper. "You didn't do it." He said.
"Yeah..." Kaminari whispered sadly. "Come see me after class, I have to talk to you." Aizawa told him and then called on Yaomomo to reply to the question. Kaminari rubbed his eyes, he looked so tired and disappointed in himself.
-After Class-
I left class with the rest of the girls to go and get dressed for our hero training. As we talked on our way there, I thought about taking my phone out to listen to some music, but then realized that there was not in my bag.
"Guys I forgot my phone in class, I'll go get it." I told them.
"Yeah, okay sure, see ya!" Uraraka said.
Then I jogged my way back to class, to get there quickly. When I got to the door, I stooped before entering because I heard voices. Oh yeah, Kaminari was asked to be seen after class.
"So, what's your excuse this time?" I heard Aizawa say. He didn't sound so happy probably because Kaminari never did his homework.
"I didn't have time." Kaminari said. "You had two days to do it. That's not an excuse." Aizawa replied. There was a moment of silence and then Kaminari spoke up again.
"Well, it was hard. I didn't understand the homework." Kaminari broke the silence. "That isn't an excuse. You should try to do your homework even if you can't understand it." Aizawa replied.
"Well, it isn't my fault. I tried Mr. Aizawa. I really did. I swear. I spent all night trying to do it, I couldn't." Kaminari admitted. Aizawa didn't reply, but he eventually did.
"You could have asked others to help you." Aizawa replied. "I did, but I left it to the last minute and they were all asleep. It's my fault, I guess." Kaminari sounded sadder than he did before.
"Well next time, I suggest you ask for help earlier. I'll tell the top three of the class to help you whenever they can. They can help you study, and they can help you do your homework. Your friends with Bakugou right, he can help you." It was clear that Aizawa was trying his best to help Kaminari, but I don't know if that's what Kaminari wanted.
"Yeah, I guess I'll let him know." Kaminari replied. "Okay then, get ready for training." Aizawa told him. I heard Kaminari's footsteps approach and left the room.
"What are you doing here." He asked. "I forgot my phone. I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation." I apologized.
"It's fine. Here's your phone I saw it on your desk and took it, so I could give it to you." He handed me over my phone. "Thanks, Jamming-Yay." I smiled and started to walk away.
"Could I walk with you?" He asked. "Sure. I don't mind." He caught up to me and we walked with each other. He joked around and seemed to be very happy at the moment, I was glad.
