Chapter 5

Kaminari POV

It's been three days since I hung out with Jirou, in her room. It was now Thursday and the day that the essay was due. I was ready to go to school. I had everything in my bag and Iida helped me print out my essay at the library yesterday.

I was having a great morning so far. Everything was going so well, until I got a text from my aunt. What does she want? Normally me and my aunt get along, but after the call we had in Jirou's room, we don't get along that well at the moment.

Hey denks. I know your at school right now, but I really want you to think about coming over for the weekend. I missed you soooo much. I really want to see you again, it's been more than 3 months since I last saw you.  Also... I convinced your mom to come for dinner.

It was good to know that my mom was coming. I really wanted to show her how much stronger I got since she last saw me. If it was only going to be for one night, then that means there's no way some guys from my middle school are going to beat me up.

I responded to her message, letting her know that I would be there.

Okay, ill come over.

That's great! I'll make some burgers for you since you love that so much!

"Kaminari! Off your phone! It's time to hand in your essays!" Present Mic said, screaming in a cheerful tone like he always did. "Did you print it?" Jirou asked.

"Nope I didn't." I lied. I wanted to see her reaction to what I said. "Are you brainless, or what! I literally reminded you to do it over and over and over." She looked angry, but worried at the same time. I reached for my bag and brought out the papers.

"They're right here actually. I was just messing with you. You should have seen your face!" I held up my essay so that she could see it. "Idiot." She looked away and waited for present mic to come her way, so that she can give him her English essay.

"Kaminari, do you have your essay? Why should I even ask you never do your homework anyway." He got ready to go ask Mina next to me, but I held up my papers in front of his face so he could see it. "YA DID DO IT! GOOD JOB, KEEP IT UP!" Present mic took my essay and stacked it up with all the other papers.

I fet proud of myself. These days I haven't been doing my homework at all but thanks to jirou, I was able to turn my homework in for the first time in a couple weeks. "Thanks." I thanked her. It's all because of her that I was able to complete my homework.

"Yeah. Anytime time." She replied, playing with her earphone jacks. I always found those her earphone jacks attractive. They looked so soft, I wish I could touch them. Might as well ask.
