With their bad habit being flashed out, the teachers are all watching the youth and his dumb actions. They tried to at least try to stay awake in class, as they do take on the many night gates and they span from hours to minutes. It depends on how long it take to mine for resources.
"Oi, brat! Stop sleeping in my class, the UA sports fest is tomorrow, at least get in the top 2."
"... simple enough." they mumbled. "But isn't it better if I help those who want to get into the hero course, instead of focusing on someone who doesn't want to be a hero."
"Bakugou san has helped us a lot. That routine was hell, but it did help. I don't feel as tired anymore." someone else said. And the brunette just gestured to the rest who agreed with his statement.
"Well, I want to see Bakugou kun in the top 2 or I will put him in the hero course." they threatened.
"Eh?!" the class exploded. "that is unfair to the rest of us. We can't beat Bakugou san! We know! We tried!"
"What?" the teacher questioned in shock. "Did anyone get hurt."
"Hurt egos. But no. Bakugou sama threatened to drop them if they continued." a female mentioned.
"From where?"
"there roof."
"How did you even get to the roofs?" the teacher snapped to the student who just smiled. "Never mind, I don't want to know. But I want 1 of you to make it to the final round. That is my condition."
"Simple enough. Shinsou, Aida, Kiyoko and Abarai, will be our MVP for this festival. We will show that even those with 'villainous' and mental quirks have potential for a greater future." Bakugou announced as he stood up. "Everyone else have a part to place in the greater picture. So, let's destroy the hero course." they boldly declared as the others all cheered and the teacher looked like he was so done with this class.
The next day, Class 1-C was confident with their master, (they started calling Akaya master for who knows what reason) instructions. They ignored their master's brother's taunting, as the race started, with a obstacle course.
Everyone worked their ass off to surpass the hero course students and at the end, they occupied 7 out of the 40 spots in the 2nd round. As Akaya predicted, class C helped each other and the mentioned MVP all made it to the next round. When they announced the next match requires teamwork, they went to their master for advice.
"This match relays on teamwork, adapting and coordination. Go make friends, 4 of us can be in a team and 3 will need an addition person." he advised. "But if you plan to do underhand methods, Shinsou will do the best as a rider. Aida kun is better as the front horse to stun anyone in your way. Kiyoko and Abarai are the best with flexibility. You should be able to dodge the sides, and support your rider." he started ranting off, and advising the other 2 students who also got into the 2nd round.
As the 6 students split off their separate ways to either find other teammates or to work with their own classmates. Akaya is very tempted to drop out, as he is getting bored. "Master, can you team up with us?" Shinsou asked, as he had Aida and Abarai with him.
"No more choices?" Akaya asked and looked around to see that it is true. "Alright. But I will stay at the back, as this is not my time to shine, but yours."
"Understood." they nodded and everyone got into position. Before heading off into war, it went well, as predicted as none of the class B student made it to the finals, but 4 class C did, along with a support division student. With the Class A holding majority of the positions.
[Look at Class C's dark knights, they have kicked all the class B students out of the race and went on to the final round. The battle round.]
"So, we won the teachers bet already. Now, shall we show the world of our potential?" Akaya asked the trio who came along with him for the ride. Like a ringleader they followed the latter to device a plan take out the hero course.
"Oi, Akaya." someone called for the brunette as the bespectacled latter turned to his brother calling for him. "We need to talk."
"Ah. Of course." with that he walked off to have a proper talk with his brother which he has been putting off for a long time.
"So... you aren't normal..." he comments.
"What new about it? I have never been normal since I was young. Living in a world of corruption does that to you." Akaya answers calmly.
"So, not a hero... but Hunter?" Katsuki asked.
"Well, yet. I haven't told you or mom, because I worry for your big-mouth. You couldn't keep secrets when we were young. As for mom... I would just get yelled and hit by her. And I won't feel much pain from the smacks." he laughed and mention.
"You must be a pretty high rank, right?"
"yup."
"Going to tell me?"
"Nope. You will probably find out sometime in the future. I won't hide it all my life. I plan to reveal it in the future." Akaya explained. "Now. Stop asking questions. Some things are not meant to be said. Like my skills, because the world would find out sometime later."
"Che. I won't be surprise if you can't go full force in the fight. You might kill one of us." he grumbles, as he knows how dangerous awaken hunters can be. Their physical strength cannot be matched by an hero.
"I plan to withdraw, as my goal was to make people shine. Not to fight, in fact, I rather not. Before I accidentally do something I really shouldn't." with that Akaya walks off from the wall, leaving his brother behind.
As promised, just as the tournament started, Akaya privately went to Midnight, who was the announcer to tell her that he is withdrawing, and she took his word, without asking. As a class B member took over their spot.
