Radioactive - Imagine Dragons

I step inside the greenhouse, going down some stairs to reach the main level. So many mysterious vines and plants hang from the ceiling. The plants have overgrown so much that they block some ways I can walk. Leon comes in the room after me. He holds the flamethrower in his hands, ready to attack.

I start going one of the ways we can go. This way takes us to the drug testing lab. We go through an ark of vines before entering.

The lights are still on in this room. A science table sits in the middle of it. It's a large table that holds many cylinder tubes and glasses amongst computers and testing tools. There are cabinets on the walls. They're all white along with the walls. The floor is blue and has a glow texture to it.

Leon looks at some files on the science table. I'm not even sure we'll understand anything on those files.

"I get it," he says. He then reads to me what's on the paper. "Place an empty cartridge into the solution dispenser." He takes the cartridge out from his pocket. "Add the required amount of UMB No.21, and then cool it immediately."

Just behind me is the solution dispenser. Leon goes up to it but there are bars over it, locking it. A red light above it shows it's not available to us.

"Ugh, of course. We're gonna have to get this unlocked," I moan, rubbing my forehead. I'm getting tired of all these puzzles. I just want to get over this mess.

"We'll get this done together, Flora. Come on." We go back out into the greenhouse. We both remember seeing a ladder on the blueprint we saw so we go over to where it would be. Leon has to take out some plant monsters before doing so. He burns them to a crisp.

To our left is a black box. But it's not just any box, it's the covering for the ladder. On the blueprint, it said it was locked and just on its cover is a very distinct code.

We go back to enter the code. Now the ladder is available to us. We climb down it. It takes us to some weird pipeline room. It's dark, like usual. A giant pipe runs through the room. It's very tight-spaced, too.

"I'm a bit claustrophobic," I complain, feeling a little sweaty and clammy.

"We'll get out of there soon," he promises.

He does find a map of this lab place so that's pretty handy. The only door in this room takes us to a more open area. It's back to its white walls and modern interior, but now it's just a mess, and there are no lights on. To our left is a dead-end hallway with a room but the door is out of power. Guess we'll have to get that power on. So we walk into the open room. It's as you would expect it to look. Everything has been thrown and destroyed into little shrubs. In the corner in the wall is another one of those electrical box things. Maybe those help the power come on.

Leon's light goes over giant scratch marks on the wall. It looks like some large person just dug their nails into the wall.

"Shit. There are lickers here," he tumbles. Lickers?

"What is that?" I lower my voice to a whisper. I think I've heard of them. I don't remember.

"They're like giant spiders but they look like skinless humans. They crawl on the floor and on the walls, same with the ceiling. They're blind so they can't see anything, but those bitches can hear so many things. It's how they find you." His voice takes a deep turn. "If you run into one, which I'm sure we're about to. Don't run, walk." Well, that's terrifying. That just adds to the list of creatures we are against right now.

I see a dead female on the ground who looks to be a zombie. She lays with her arms out, her legs straight. I bet she was so beautiful before that virus caught up to her... Those stupid zombies...
