in love with a hybrid (varian x faun reader)

2. ~best friends~

A/n: this part is a little sad but please read it, it's very important to the story line :]

Its been a few weeks since you meant varian. You guys are best friends.

You hear a knock at the door. You run to the door and open it, varian is at the door.

"Varian I have to show you something" you say excitedly. You grab his arm before he has time to respond and drag him to a old boat.
"I found it yesterday and look!" You jump in the boat and lift up two captain hats "we can fix it up and be captain (__) and co-captain varian!"

"This is cool!" Varian says and gets in the boat to. "And I can use my alchemy not magic to help clean it up" he chuckles

You and varian are back at your house. You walk inside. It has gotten pretty dark and because you know the forest pretty well you decided to walk varian home.

You were walking in silence untill varian broke it the same way he did last time

"Are you ready to tell me what happend to your mom" he questioned

You stood there thinking for a little. You could tell him, you trusted him.

"She was killed by hunters" you kept walking looking down. Varian didn't say anything wanting you to continue so you did.

"We were at are favorite flower patch when they came and took her away. There were four of them they all had this weired symbol on there hand" Your eyes started to water

"What did the symbol look like" he asked.

"It was a Circle with three lines through it" tears began running down your face.

Varian recognized that symbol he just didn't know where.

Suddenly you stop moving from arms being wrapped around you. You looked up and saw varian hugging you. You hugged back still crying.

You began walking agian in a comfortable silence.

A/n: sorry this chapter is kinda sad at the end I did cry while writing this. ♡
