Chapter 2: An Explanation

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Xiao POV:

Huh?

Who could that be?
Xiao asked to himself. As he opens the door he finds a small box of almond tofu on his door.

"Who could have left this here?" Xiao mumbled. There seems to be a note on the stuck on the gift.

"Dear Xiao,
I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable yesterday...
Paimon told me you love almond tofu so I got you some as an apology.
Also if you can, could we meet up after the last English final? I need to talk about something and you seem like someone I could talk too.
If you're up for it then please write back or tell me."

Xiao said. Affection wasn't something Xiao was familiar with. He felt warm inside. It was quite the feeling.

*DING*

"What the-" Xiao heard a notification pop up which was weird. No one would be texting him right now since most of the people he knew where doing finals.

Xiao checks his phone and finds a notification from his sister, Ganyu.
Ganyu was his older sister so he wasn't to surprised she would be texting him.

Hey are you done with finals?

                                     Nope, at least not yet

Oh so you have afternoon
finals?

                             Yeah. You need anything?

Uh yeah...

                                                        What is it?

Hu tao failed her exam again
and she needs someone to
cover her.

Hu tao was the youngest amongst then. One of the most annoying too. He can't remember one day where he doesn't cover for her. She sure owes him a lot.

(For those who are confused:
Ganyu is the eldest, she's a working adult.
Xiao is the middle, he's currently in college
And Hu tao is the youngest in high school.)

*RINGGGGG*

"What was that?" Xiao said

Time:
3:48 pm

"OH SHIT" Xiao was late. He was to caught up with Ganyu, he forgot he has finals.

"SHIT SHIT NO NO NO" Xiao said quite loudly, it confused his neighbors.

He ran out the door and quickly got his keys and left.

*Time skip*

Luckily Xiao made it in time and was able to finish the test before time was up.
