I danced with Honey and Mori until one of the guests asked if she could dance with Honey. Mori took my hand and gazed deeply into my eyes. Mori picked me up by my waist and spun me around. As my feet landed back on the floor, my foot slipped. The bottom of my heel snapped and my ankle rolled onto the floor. I bit my lip in pain, trying not to scream. Mori paused and, without thinking, scooped me up bridal style.

He quietly carried me to the nurse's office. I clutched his shirt, holding back tears. The nurse wrapped and iced my ankle. I held Mori's hand tightly the entire time. I could tell Mori felt horrible about what happened. He couldn't even look me in the eyes.

"It's not your fault," I said in an attempt to make him feel better. He didn't move and only stared down at the floor. I leaned closer to him and tilted his head upward. Our lips were barely an inch apart. Mori leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. I closed my eyes and cupped his face with my hands. I leaned back and smiled at Mori. He smiled back.
