                                                   Sarah and I turned and looked at each other in shock mixed with fear. "Oh no!" said Sarah. "We've been locked in!"
"That's obvious, isn't it," I told her, slightly angry at her because it was her fault we were locked in school.
"I'm so sorry, Emily," Sarah told me. "Mrs. Jones made me stay in the class and do some work for her. I'm so sorry."
"That's okay," I told her, feeling guilty about being rude to her. "Now let's concentrate on getting out of here!"
"Maybe we could go through another exit?" Sarah suggested. I didn't think it would work, but we tried it anyway. All the doors were locked. "Now what do we do?" Sarah asked with a fearful expression.
"Let me think," I said. "I'm going to come up with a plan."
