Locked In!

Plan A

I sat for a while, just thinking. I eventually came up with something, even if it wasn't a great plan. "I have a plan!" I told Sarah happily. Sarah smiled at me.
"So, what's your plan?" she questioned. I told her my plan (that was actually a pretty bad plan) and we got to work. Plan A was to call our parents and see if they could do something to get us out of school. Luckily they wouldn't be wondering where we were because we were both supposed to have after school clubs today. I fished my phone out of my backpack and called my mother.
"Hi Mom," I said.
"Hello, darling," she replied. "Aren't you supposed to be at after school gym?"
"Yes, I am supposed to be at after school gym, but I'm not because Sarah and I are locked inside school."
"What!? You're locked inside school!? How did you manage that?"
"It's a long story. Now can you please get us out?"
"I'm sorry, darling. The school has a strict policy about opening the school doors between 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM, no matter what the circumstances."
"Ugh, fine," I said, and hung up. I turned to Sarah and said, "Well, my mom is of no help. I don't have a plan B, so I think we're just going to have to stay here till next morning."
