"Oh well," said Sarah. "If we have to stay here till next morning, we might as well do our homework." So we completed our homework, ate some snacks we had in our backpacks and then we played on our phones until their batteries ran out. We decided it would make sense to sleep, so we used our backpacks as pillows and attempted to sleep. After a few hours of tossing and turning, Sarah fell asleep and soon after, I did too. Early next morning, I was awoken by Sarah shaking me. "Come on!" she said. "We can go out soon!" I got up, and at that moment the morning bell rang and the doors opened. Sarah and I ran out and went toward our friends.
