Hitch
It was like every other morning. I was sitting at the table eating cereal, mom gone for work, dog sitting on the couch. I decided after I was done I would stop by Y/n's house to check in.

Tik. tik. tik.

The clock always made me anxious, the noise. It feels like its speeding up slowly and it gets me nervous.

Tik. Tik. Tik.

"Faye I'm going to be gone for a while, be a good boy alright?" I grab my bag, pat Faye a few times and head out.

"Hitch! Lovely to see you again, what brings you here?"
"I just wanted to see how Y/n was doing, can I go see __ ?"
"Oh! __ not here right now, __ at Hanji's house."
I sighed and nodded, "Alright, well can you tell me when __ gets back then?" She nodded and I closed the door.

What do I do now? Wait what day is it?

"Monday...oh." My mood dropped when I remembered this week will be Y/n's last week here before moving. I was planning to confess some time but that was until Hanji asked __ out. I'm jealous sure but if Y/n is happy I'll be ok.

"NOOO" Hanji tossed their cards onto the table and Mary laughed. "HAHAHA LOSER!" I sighed and tossed my cards into the pile as well. "Maannn! You guys are cheating!" Erwin patted my back "Your just mad, it's ok to loose you know" he had a smug look on his face and I patted his back even harder. "Totally."

Mary put away the cards and we all sat on the couch. "So when are you going to be leaving Y/n?" Erwin asked. "Next week on Monday, it sucks really because I got the news last week and I barley met you guys not to long ago.." I sighed and laid my head on Hanji's shoulder.

"Where are you moving to anyways?"
"To New York, since my mom's boyfriend has family over there and they have a lot of money. They offered us a good apartment to live in and of course we couldn't decline."

They all nodded, understanding.
"That's far away, hopefully you can come visit at least during the holidays.." "Hopefully, or maybe I can ask my mom if I can sometimes by myself. Well try to convince her at least."

Ding!

I checked my phone and it was a message from mom.

Hitch came a while ago to come check on you, you should come back so she doesn't worry so much.

Alright, I'll go rn.

"Ah guys I have to get going now, my friend wanted to talk to me about something. It seems important." I gave them all a hug and a kiss to Hanji "You want me to walk you home love?" I nodded "Alright, guys I'm going to walk __ home."

"Did you have fun?"
Hanji nodded, "it went better than I thought. Thank you for that." I smiled to them and held their hand. "Of course, I'm glad you agreed to it. I thought you would be a bit uncomfortable telling those two but honestly they where so nice."

Earlier today I had asked Hanji if they wanted to talk to Mary and Erwin about what happened with her friend and that we could have some times to just let it all out and then play some games. They agreed and it went well.

"So what are your plans for tomorrow?" They asked. "I'm going with Eren, Mikasa and Armin to a the park, and also to get some new stuff for the apartment."
Hanji laughed "when you get there you have to FaceTime me and show me it! " I nodded "definitely will, I wish I could just shrink you and carry you in my pocket!" We both laughed, but we stopped once we heard noises coming from ahead.

Slowly it was clear it was someone walking slowly. "Stay close to me Y/n." They put their arms around me and we cautiously walked forward. "Hanji..." "shhhh"

Why does my heart ache so badly? Why do I have to cry so much? Why does this have to happen to me..

Well it's my fault for not saying it sooner. I would have probably been able to do all kinds of fun couple stuff of I was with Y/n.

I wiped my tears and sighed. "Get it together. Your stronger than this!"

"Hitch?"
"Ooh hitch?"

Just my luck.

"Y/n, Hanji! Didn't notice you guys!"
Y/n gave me a hug and Hanji waved. "I wasn't home earlier because I was at their house, but I was just on my way home!"
"Ooh thats why, well I was just going to ask how you where doing is all..seems your doing just fine. I'll be on my may then."

"Ah Hitch can I speak to you for a moment?"
"Oh what is it?"

"I know you guys where just having fun and all but please don't drink. Or stay out so late. I know you guys wanted to have some time to hangout like you used to but it's also not safe as to what you are doing."

Oh. So suddenly everything we did is bad now?

"My apologies, it's just that I like the excitement and you know just the feeling of being free I get from doing it. I mean I don't think I will stop doing it but if you're worried about Y/n than __ don't have to come anymore." And without letting them speak I walked off.

Y/n was the one asked to do this from the start. Don't blame me. Blame __.
