I was sitting on a bench while watching my classmates running laps all around the field. It was fun to watch them, actually. It was fun because I wasn't the one running.
Every time Louis would be running around me I would just grin and pull out my tongue at him. He didn't look very pleased with that, I must admit. Next to me was sitting another girl – I believe her name was Aria – but she was sitting there because of real stomach ache. By the look on her face, I was pretty sure that she's not in a mood to talk, at the moment, so I just let her be.
When Louis sat next to me after finishing his three laps, I could see the sweat on his muscly arms and dripping from his forehead, completely messing his already messy hair. I looked at him and chuckled, his chest was rising up and down in quick pace.
"That's what you get for smoking so much," I smirked at him and handed him my water bottle. He rolled his eyes and grabbed the bottle from my hand, sending me deadly glare while doing so. He might have only 172cm but his eyes say it all. He has the best face expressions from any person I've ever met, really obvious ones.
For example, whenever a person would say a bullshit to him, Louis without even saying anything would look into the person's eyes and the embarrassment on their faces was always hilarious to watch. He just didn't have to use words for winning argument, but what confused me a lot were his facial expressions when he was with Harry. I just, I couldn't figure him out.
For a second I got jealous there. I wanted to confuse people this way too, I think that's how the whole "bet game" really started. I loved the looks on people's faces when they professed their love to me and I just left. Left them standing there, wondering what they did wrong. These bets were quite easy when we were in Sophomore and Junior year, it's well known fact that youth falls in love easier and faster.
If you think about it, it does actually make sense because adults most likely got their hearts broken when they trusted and admired the person the most and in adulthood they realised how reckless it was from them to fall for someone this quickly. Well, that's just what I feel, obviously. My theory that I believe in.
At least the people that I left will act better than falling in love this quickly.
"Have you seen the new lad yet?" Louis said after he pulled his shirt over his head. He had a white shirt that hugged his muscly arms in the way it should, the shirt had a little pocket on the left side of his chest. He was also wearing a black skinny jeans that showed his ankles with classic black vans, of course.
"You mean the guy who is supposed to be helping our football team to get into the league?" I asked him while walking out of the changing room with him, right by my side. "Yeah, that's him! I heard he's hot," Tommo smirked as this was somehow important to me. "So what?" "I mean, I don't know. I thought you'd want to know."
Why? Just why would I want to know. Him trying to get me into a relationship is getting ridiculous now.
He chuckled after me not answering his questions for a while, "I got to go to class, hope you will be in a better mood, by the time we will talk again." He messed my hair and walked away. Leaving me standing there like an idiot, I truly was acting cold to him. I don't even know why.
I looked at the clock that was hanging on the wall, realising that my class starts soon. I was so not in a mood for Math class, so I just decided not to go. Wouldn't be the first time that I would be skipping the class, anyway.
As I was walking towards the exit, I was thinking about what am I going to do in my "free" class, probably take nap on the bench outside. I chuckled at that thought because it wouldn't be the first time.
